Before we left for Japan and London in January, the guys came over to Lily's house. I was spending a lot of time there. I will always look at it and think about how proud of her I am. I'll never forget the moment she bought the castle where she deserved to live.

I was at the grill as Lily sat at the outside bar area. Everyone was outside by the pool.

"Hey Lil, can you grab me a beer?"

"Of course," she said, grabbing one for herself too.

She walked over to me. Both of my hands were full with tongs and a bottle of barbecue sauce.

"Beer me," I said, pretty loudly.

She brought the bottle up to my mouth and I took a sip of it, smiled, and kissed her. The kiss lingered a bit.

"Awww..." Phil said, from the pool area. "Now that's love."

I set down the barbecue sauce and wrapped my arm around her, pulling her in, and kissing her again.

Lily looked down at her shirt,  whispering loudly so everyone could hear. "Did you get barbecue sauce on my new shirt?"

"Uh..." I smiled nervously. "I love you."

She sighed dramatically but smirked back. "I love you too."

"No," Eric said. "THAT is love."

Our first stop was Japan. We got there a few days before just to go sight-seeing and eat lots and lots of sushi. I'd been to Tokyo a couple times at this point but seeing it with Lily was way better. She'd never been there before. She looked up with wide-eyes at all the tall buildings and busy streets.

Days later, we had our private tour of Nintendo. I was as excited to see her face as I was for the Arctic Monkeys show. Her reaction was priceless as we linked arms and viewed all the Nintendo memorabilia.

"Bruno this is so fuckin' cool!"

"I'm glad you like it," I said.

"I love it!" she exclaimed, looking all around.

We bought some merchandise and had it sent to her house outside of Seattle. She said she had quite the collection up there along with a lot of her dad's painting and work.

Japan was truly, truly awesome. I knew I had to come back there one day. Bruno showed me around London. He'd been there before too, many, many times. Our seats were front row of the balcony, in a VIP section. It was such a small venue though; every seat would have felt close.

Arctic Monkeys played for a long time and were so good live. I looked over at Bruno and he was definitely on cloud nine. Very suddenly my stomach started to act up.

"Bruno I'm goin' to the bathroom. I'll be right back," I yelled into his ear.

"Okay!" he replied. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, of course. I just have to pee."

It seemed like he was buying it. I felt guilty for lying to him but I would have felt guiltier if I dragged him away from his Christmas present.

I hurried off to the bathroom and made it to one of the stalls just in time before I started throwing up. When I got out, two girls were staring at me. I began to get a bit of a flashback but I quickly shoved it out of my thoughts.

"You look familiar," one of them said.

I quickly shrugged, washed my hands and got the hell out of there. When I got back to my seat, Bruno smiled and put his arm around my waist.
