This chapter is kinda muddled😁 the problem is that if I wanted to make something better with more details, it would've been way too long. So yeah, I only wrote the important stuffs. Oh and some things aren't very clear, I just didn't know how to explain/translate them 😂

⚠️! Don't think it's really clear in this chapter, so yeah. Important thing, three days passed since the last chapter (the 26th).

RYLAND

I'm woken up by some weird mattress noises next to me. I groan and casually put my hand on the alarm clock to see what time is. 2am.

"Ugh! Seriously Ross?" I use my elbows to raise myself a little and turn on the table lamp. My brother can't stop wriggle in his sheets. I decide to get up to see him.

"Hey, Ross you're okay?" I then realise he's sleeping and that it's kind of stupid to talk to him. Completely stupid actually. I gently closer more so I won't wake him up. He's sweating a lot. Either he's doing a terrific nightmare, or he is sick. As he is very pale, I lean towards the second option.

I go out of the room without making a sound. Riker will be more gifted with that kind of problems. I know, it's a bad idea, since he hates being woken up, but I don't really have choice. I gently knock on his door. There is no answer, so I insist. He soon after replies by a grunt. I come in.

"Ugh, what's the problem?" He complains hiding his face in his pillow.

"It's Ross. He's weird."

"And can't it wait? It's 2am!" He whines.

"Please Riker, I don't know what to do."

"Fine..." Riker sighs and slowly gets up. We go back in my room. I point at Ross.

"See? There's something wrong." Ross is moving even more, and seems to breath with difficulty now. Riker doesn't say a thing. He just gets closer. He crouches beside the bed, and carefully put his hand on our brother's forehead. He removes it immediately wincing, and shakes it energetically.

"What, is he hot?" I ask curious, looking over his shoulder.

"No. He's freezing. So freezing that it burns..." Riker whispers.

"So, what's wrong with him?"

"I don't know Ryland, I'm not a fucking doctor." He snaps." Hum, sorry, okay? I'm tired and... Nevermind, forget it." He adds seing my surprised face. He never talked to me like that. Well, I woke him up at 2, no wonder why he is in a bad mood.
He looks again at Ross and starts gently whispering.

"Hey Ross, shhh, it's okay, calm down..." Riker puts his hand on his shoulder, and surprisingly, Ross relaxes. He carrys on for a few seconds, and Ross ends up breathing normally again. Riker gets up.

"Just a nightmare, nothing to worry about. He used to do that often 4 months ago. He'll be fine now. Good night."
He glances at Ross one last time, and leaves the room, yawning.

I sigh, fold my arms and look at my brother again. He kind of scared me to be honest. But if Riker says he's fine, then he's fine. But still, I come closer to him to see if everything is okay again.

I'm suddenly press against the wall. I gasp in surprise. Ross is standing in front of me, his eyes filled by anger, his arm under my throat to prevent me from moving. I stand gaping. Then his muscles seem to loosen, and the anger disappears from his eyes. I can't tell which one of us is the more surprised now.

"I almost got an attack." I say breaking the silence.

"I... Sorry..." He stutters, the incomprehension still legible on his face.
