A/N: okay. Let’s get some things straight. Walt and Nathalie are fully fictional. No resemblance whatsoever is intended on people in real life. Clear?

Oh and there's a special gift for one of my friends in here. Only she's gonna understand ;)

Enjoy :)

My Friend's cat just died. RIP Romeo </3

Walt's POV

Somehow listening to Nat talk about the things she loved was relaxing. I mean, I felt like I could listen to her for hours and not get bored. The way her eyes light and her entire composure changes; it's breathtaking. It's surprising how beautiful she is. I really wanted to know who broke her heart. That's what I thought about, that day over coffee. But I never had the gut to ask her. Then she threw the bombshell about life. Anyways, after I dropped her home, I decided to go over to Lucas' house. It had been a while, and I felt like throwing another party. Lucas was like my best bro when it came to these things. This time though, the party would be at his place. Mine was hosting some of Dad's business partners. Screwing up there would be a big no-no.  I mentally chuckled. Screwing people there would be a no-no.

I reached Lucas's place in fifteen minutes. As my car pulled up into the drive way, I saw Liz's car. Just as I pulled my keys out of the ignition, Liz burst out of the house. Her face was red and her mascara was running down her face. Was she crying? I got out of the car. Lucas ran out holding a water gun.

It clicked immediately. Liz and Lucas were having a water fight.

I got out of the car and leaned on it. Even though I was no sap, their relationship was really sweet. He'd been through hell in between his freshman and sophomore year because his grand-parents had died. He was really close to them and it hit him like lightening. But that's aside from the point.

After about five minutes of screaming, they finally seemed to notice I was standing here.

"Walt! Yo,"

"Hey man!" I started walking towards his house. "Hey Liz,"

She glared in response to the cheeky grin I gave her. Lucas looked between the two of us, eyebrows raised.

"Walt." Stone cold. Her voice was stone cold. I started laughing. I know, genius thing to do in front of a pissed girl.

"Chill out Lizzy," she hated when people called her that, but what the hell.

"Don't you dare-"

"I apologized to Nat," I smirked at her. She looked shell-shocked.

"Is this about that thing from Demi's class?"

Ladies and gentlemen, Lucas Brown: the ever so obtuse...

"NOO. It's about Nat's car," Liz rolled her eyes.

"She doesn't own a car," Lucas piped up again.

"No shit. Obviously it's about the thing I said," I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, I felt like partying. Anyone?"

"I'm out this time. I've got work and this family thing," Liz smiled sadly.

"Dude, I was in the second you said party! Where and when?"

"Dunno bout either of those,"

"C'mon man. Let's get inside, I'm starving," I grinned at him.

"Boys... Always hungry..." I heard Liz mutter as Lucas's front door shut.
