"What's wrong?" Caspar asks.

"Nothing. Don't worry." Joe says.

"You did what?!" I whisper shout.

"Technically she broke up with me." He shrugs.

"Same here. Cuz we couldn't handle a long distance relationship. But, why you?" I ask.

"Something like that- she's moving to LA." Joe says.

"Single again, I guess." I say.

"Precisely." He says.

We get to their guest room and they keep their bags on the floor. "Coming down?" Caspar asks.

"Yeah. We'll be there in a sec." Joe says.

"K." Caspar says walking out.

"Why is she moving to LA?" I ask.

"She said that she wanted a new beginning or something, and she actually asked if I wanted to go with her." He says.

"Well, what did you say?!" I ask.

"I said that I'd think about it." He says.

"Are you done thinking?!" I ask.

"A long time ago. I said no." He says.

"Thank God. At this point, you're the only one I can talk to." I let out a sigh of relief.

"What about your friends? What about Louis, Olivia and Alex?" He asks.

I can't believe he remembered their names.

"Louis likes me." I say.

"Isn't he supposed to like you, he's your best friend." He says.

"Not in that way idiot! He like likes me." I say.

"Oh. Well, do you like like him back." He asks, shrugging.

"I don't know. Should I like like him back?" I ask.

"I've met him. I had a good 45 minutes to talk to him while you were in the shower. He's a good guy. Completely your type." He says.

"Really? Are you sure?" I ask.

"I'm positive. You deserve a normal life." He says.

"Being the daughter of Alfie and Zoe Deyes and being related to you, that's kind of impossible." I say.

"Never say never." He says.

"I didn't say that. And you just said it. Twice." I say.

"But thanks for the pep talk." I say, hugging him.

"Okay. This is getting really sappy. Let's go check the kitchen for something to eat." He says.

"To the kitchen!" I say, acting like superman.

It feels so good to finally talk to someone about this.

'Friends come and go but family is forever'

Its true. But in this case its 'Relationships come and go but family is forever'

We sneak into the kitchen and check the cupboards. I find a huge pack of gummy bears. "Joe!" I whisper.

He looks at me and I show it to him. "Score!" Joe says.

I hear someone's footsteps coming closer. "Someone's coming! Let's go." I whisper.

We run out and go to Joe and Caspar's guest room.

"I wonder who that was." I say.

"Probably Tan." He says.

I open the packet and we eat as if we have never eaten before. Truth is, I haven't had gummy bears in a long, long time.

Someone opens the door and I quickly hide the pack under the blanket.

"Hey Tan!" Joe says.

"Hey Joe. I was wondering..."

"Yes Tan, what were you wondering?" He asks, suspiciously.

I nudge his arm, he was going to make her suspect something.

"I was wondering if we should have dinner now." She asks.

"Why are you asking us?" He asks.

"Don't know. Just because you came the last that's why." She says.

"We should. El and I will be down in a minute." He says.

"Yup." I say.

"K." She says.

And we give a large, fake, creepy smile and she walks away slowly, shutting the door as she goes, certainly creeped out.

"God! You're terrible at this! Have you never lied before or something?" I say.

"I have. A million times. But when i was little. And 20." He says.

"Forget it." I say.

I take the gummy bears and continue to eat.

"I wanted to do a video tomorrow, why don't we do some sort of collab?" He asks.

"No. And besides, I'm leaving tomorrow, remember?" I say.

"Okay. But maybe you can stay one more day. Zoe never says no to a collab. Especially with you." He says.

"Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yeah. It'll be fine!" He says.

I stand up and leave the room, Joe following me. "Didn't you go to school today?" Joe asks.

"I did." I say.

"Then, wasn't things awkward between you and Louis?" He asks.

"We hardly talked. I just talked to him once and he said that I don't need to say anything, I have a boyfriend and that he made the mistake of liking me." I say.

"All of that? It wasn't a mistake. Tell him that." He says.

"I will. But not now. I can't. I'm not ready." I say.

"K." He says.

"Forget me. What about you and Chloe. How are you?" I ask.

"Well. To be honest, it kinda hurt. I really liked her." He says, avoiding contact with my eyes.

"Oh Joe, it'll be fine. You'll get over it." I say, patting his back.

"Well, I haven't gotten over it to be honest."

"What am I saying?! I sound like a stuck up teenage girl!" He says.

"Exactly. You disgust me!" I say, grossed out.

"I'm disgusting myself!" He says.

We get to the living room and there were four boxes of pizza on the table. Caspar for one, has already started to eat.

Better save some for myself.
