Terrorism has no religion

Does this darkness have a name, this cruelty, this hatred. Did it engulf us? Or did we seek it out and embrace it. What happened to us, that we now send our children into the world like we send young men into war, hoping for their safe return but knowing some will be lost along the way. Does this darkness have a name?

I can't recall how many times, while growing up in Lebanon, I thought: 'I despise this land'; How many times I've said: 'Damn this country. Damn this homicidal identity, damn this cruel geography, damn these nasty religions that turn man against man" I can't recall how many times I have wished, in those frequent moments of despair and misery, to have a weightless empty heart, without the extra load of fear, pain, sorrow, disappointment, grief, regret, frustration, doubt, resentment, mourning, suspicion. Despite all this I can't deny that We owe it to wars that they turn many of us, their survivors, into fierce fighters, with an endless appetite for life, accomplishment, joy, knowledge and progress. Don't pray  for the countries, pray for the lost humanity. #paris #lebanon #syria #Iraq #humanity #survivors #palestine #terrorismhasnoreligion

A.N:
This is not an update but this is something that should be said. The cruelty of the terrorist attacks that happened in the last two days and killed more than 300 people should be brought to the public eye. Pray for the lost humanity.
