"Night Bre" I shouted to the next room, earning a small mutter that I assumed to be 'goodnight'. I smiled to myself and that's when reality hit me. I'm getting married tomorrow. Tomorrow, I'll be Mrs. Turner... wow. Then I also realized I have to try and sleep without Alex tonight.
You see, when you love someone, and get used to sleeping next to them every night, and waking up looking at the person you love, it's hard to break the habit.
So I got into bed... alone.
I tried to sleep... alone.
I couldn't sleep... alone.
I tried plugging both my headphones in to listen to Alex's smooth voice, but no... because I was alone.
It got to about 3am, and my phone vibrated. I rolled over to check it, and it was Alex.
See you tomorrow, Mrs. Turner.
He was so adorable. And he was mine. And I was his.
And something as simple as that managed to get me to go to sleep.
