He had eyes like caramel, soft and golden. They shone in the sun and glowed in the dark.
And I stared into them for so long eventually I became stuck, never wanting those caramel eyes to fade.
But my wish was not granted, as after they had glimmered for so long with tears, they dulled and became a pale dusty brown.
They weren't bad, they just weren't him anymore.
How I long for those caramel eyes.
