Music
Film
Dance
Theatre
Creative writing
All forms of art.
And they shape the world around us.
So why is it that I'm only achieving if my successful career is in business or accounting?
Why is it that the education board devalues the arts and core subjects are all academic?
Why do I only have potential when I excel in science or history?
When the world around us has no pattern or order, why must we be based in equations and algorithms, with set writing techniques and specific nouns?
When the world around us would be bland and depressing without the most basic forms of art, why are they degraded?
When fashion, architecture and computer design all rely on art, why is it considered worth less?
I would not live in a world without music or film, because I would die of boredom.
I would not live in a world without architecture or fashion, because I would have no place to house me and nothing to clothe me.
I would not live in a world without art, because that is no world at all.
