Turn off all the lights, switch off the stars and block out the moon- it's night and all I want is dark.
The dark is safe and comforting, it takes away my pain and fear. The night brings peace and a comfortable, understanding isolation. It brings sleep and allows me to slip into dreams.
The sparkling stars, watching over everything, silent and bright. The moon shining down, creating a beautiful sliver glow. But this beauty can't last forever.
Stars fade into the night. The moon disappears beyond the horizon. The dawn breaks at East, the sky shines silver then gold. Dawn has broken. The night is gone. And I am no longer safe.
