A short timeline of 11th_hour

I wanted to say thank you.

It's been a little over 2 years since I started this collection (with a long ass poem that really shouldn't be that long but it's where I started so I refuse to change it) and 100 poems later, I can officially say, I have learnt something.

When I started this, I hated poetry, seriously, I despised it, but through reading and writing on Wattpad, poetry has become one of my biggest forms of release.

And that's all this is a release, and now it has over 19,000 people reading it, some new, and some regulars who I have become friends with, and these people are all over the world, every age and gender and everything possible, and that is amazing.

The fact that people take time out of their day to read what I write still astounds me, and don't worry, this isn't me saying I'm ending this collection, I intend to keep writing.

I found Wattpad as a lonely teenager looking for somewhere to easily read fanfiction (believe me this is a whole lot easier to navigate than Quotev on Google/Safari/the Internet). By the way this lonely teenager intends to continue writing and reading on Wattpad until they're a lonely old cat lady. I am not stopping, I love this.

But slowly I noticed that my library contains a whole lot less YouTube fanfiction, and a whole lot more poetry and original stories.

And somewhere between there I started writing my own things, (under a username I'd rather not remember).

It started with a YouTube fanfiction of my own (which still resides in my drafts and the notes of my iPod, waiting to be finished) and then another, or three, and then I introduced my poetry.

And so things took off and slowly my fanfics were unpublished and I was left with poetry and music and I'm perfectly content.

So two years, 100 poems, 5 videos, 2 random rants, a couple of quotes, 1 short story, 75 songs, 8 fanfictions, 6 original stories (shh they're in the drafts), a random ideas book, a few friends and a name change later, I have 11th_hour. Something I couldn't be more proud of.
