Feelings are complex things,
They confuse and deceive,
They make us mad.Jealousy, anger, sadness, hurt,
They make no sense and yet we feel them so passionately. But most confusing of all are love and hate.
They are the same kind of passions,
Not always distinguishable. But even more so,
These emotions that every human should feel,
Not everyone does,
Not in their entirety,
Not in their every form. And as such there are people,
Entirely at peace,
Who experience not jealousy nor anger. And people who are not sad or hurt.
These people are perfectly normal,
Everyone feels differently. There are those who know only love,
Hate is not an emotion they experience. And there are those who have familial love, but no romantic feelings.
And those who do not experience love at all.I am a person who rarely feels jealousy but knows hurt more than I'd like. I am familiar with pangs of sadness and have the capacity for familial love.
But more than that I understand, that I do not love or like others,
I have fleeting moments of infatuation,
Based on something entirely superficial,
Something I saw, something I heard,
But nothing ever lasts. However, what I feel most,
Is that I hold a lot of anger,
I know I'm angry at the world,
I'm just not sure what for.I experience emotion in my own particular balance.
I understand others feel more love or more sadness.
Complex beings with complex feelings,
All in different measures. How do you weigh up?
