It wasn't a sudden choice, it was as gradual as you pushed.
It started with a tiny little poke and then became a nudge then a push, until I could feel the pressure.
"You won't leave me right!" In jest to a friend, though a little mournful and begging deep down.
"Never!", well, 'never' lasted for 30 seconds.
It wasn't even really a choice, it just seemed it was to be done.
I never told because you never asked and though I asked you never told.
A circle and a dot without.
Just a dot. •
And it wasn't for any particular reason.
I didn't stay, because no one ever asked me to.
