Hope

I got my hopes up but you tore them down.

I guess that's why they tell you to not get your hopes up so high,

But i don't regret it.

Hope is something that keeps us going.

Maybe a little too long or not long enough.

But hope keeps us on our toes.

Till we fall,

But we all fall,

Sooner or later

And we all learn our lesson,

It's hard not to get your hopes up high

because hope is part of faith.

if you don't have hope in something then how do you have faith in something.

Think about it,

they're creepy-ishly connected somewhere,

somehow.

if you have faith in something you most likely have hope in it too.

Whether your hope in whatever it is is a lot or not much at all.

Hope is a weapon but sometimes were the ones who fires it at ourselves.

Hope is a good thing.

But just like everything else too much of something is bad for us.

Like too much salt, too much sugar, and too much acholahol.

And i geuss hope could be added on that list.

To not have too much of it.

Because sadly too much hope can knock us down.

Ruin our dreams and send us sparling forward in confusion or sadness.

But no matter how much i learn,

that too much hope is a bad thing.

I still convince myself that it is a good thing.

Because i thought hope was a good thing.

And it still is, just don't take too much.

Unless you can take the downfall that fate can bring you or me or us.

Remember what can happen with too much hope.

Hope can break you or make you and that is why it is the greatest weapon of all.

But never lose hope either.

Just watch yourself carefully.

Make sure you know what could happen if you put all your hope on one bet.

Because just like Monopoly and love it is yet another great gamble, but remember that Monopoly' Still just a game.
