I apologize that I am slow in updating because I am really busy but I hope everyone has enjoyed the story so far. I normally update with two chapters but because I feel like I have been delayed so long in updating, I should at least share one of the chapters I was able to finish.

RJ had his own pad near the office.

Kapag maraming ginagawa e doon siya tumutuloy so he can rest better kesa suungin ang madugong traffic pa sa EDSA at SLEX para makauwi lang.

The past three nights he'd been staying here wasn't as hectic as the normal times he would be here but he preferred his own company over that of his family.

He loved them but like all normal people, he hated them sometimes.

Right after talking with Gab, naka-receive siya nang text galing sa ama telling him na dapat ay maayos itong away nilang magkapatid.

He heaved a sigh and decided not to respond.

Hindi niya naiintindihan how his parents were taking this so lightly.

They were also hurt by the scandal of his fiancée and his sister's boyfriend. He had seen that. Pinag-usapan pa nila yun.

Why would they want themselves exposed to the public again?

Nothing good ever comes out of allowing other people the power to judge you.

His phone rang as soon as he came in his pad and he saw it was one of his friends.

"Derrick."

"Asan ka RJ?"

Derrick Monasterio was a friend who owned two bars near his unit. Malamang mag-aaya ito uminom.

"Sa condo."

"Perfect! Punta ka dito sa Draft!"

It was Friday. RJ had one of the shittiest weeks ever. He needed to go out and drink.

"Sige."

"Aba! Hindi ka nagpapilit!"

"Oh eh di sige ayoko na!"

Tumawa nang malakas si Derrick. "Sira ulo! Antayin ka namin. Nang-indian na naman tong si Ruru e. Sabihan mo yung kapatid mo wag itali!"

He sighed, stopping himself from any form of retort. Hindi niya ikukwento sa kaibigan ang kasalukuyang drama na meron sa bahay nila. "Dating ako dyan in 30 minutes."

"Sa harap tayo uupo ha. Para may mga makakita sa inyo tapos pumasok sa loob."

It was a running joke they had. Whenever Derrick needed his bar full, he'd call all his friends up and sit them outside where women can see them. Kapag nagsipasok na daw ang mga babae e susunod na ang mga lalaki.

"Matumal ba?"

"Oo. Kaya bilisan mo!"

Almost half an hour later, RJ parked right in front of Draft and found the place filled to the rafters.

Derrick greeted him.

"So ito na tawag mo sa matumal ngayon?" he asked.

"Nung magkausap kase tayo, hindi pa nakakarating tong sina Kris" Derrick answered and pointed towards the other men sitting right out front.
