CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR

          

Sinabi naman niya kay Maine na despite asking for her forgiveness, he could continue being an asshole and she needed to accept that part of him.

Hence, if you think about it, he could actually throw away this "chivalry act" and do what he wanted to do, especially since she seems to want it too.

But the bitch of all bitches is that... he just couldn't act on it.

No matter how black he claims his soul is, there is just no getting around the distaste he feels in taking advantage of an intoxicated woman.

It didn't matter if they had their wits about them or if they could still form cohesive responses but as long as they have had more than just a taste of alcohol, RJ wouldn't bed them.

He understood the importance of allowing a woman to do something because they wanted it while their head is clear. He sighed, remembering the way she felt underneath him and wondered whether he could bathe in ice to cool himself down because he just might go crazy thinking about what happened a few minutes ago.

There was a knock on his and Ruru's door and since the latter was in the shower, he opened it.

"Bakit ka nandito?!?!" Jake asked in frustration.

"Kwarto namin to ni Ruru ano ka ba!"

Derrick, Josh, and Kris popped up from behind Jake and they all trooped towards the room.

"500 ko!" Derrick announced.

RJ rolled his eyes at them. "Pinagpustahan nyo na naman ba ako?" he asked as the door closed.

"Hanggang makulit itong si Jake na makipagpustahan" Josh anwered smugly "Hindi kami titigil. At saka, huwag ka magmalinis dyan, nakipagpustahan ka din sa amin nung sinabi ni Jake na hindi kakayanin ni Kris ihatid si Joyce sa bahay after nung dinner."

Pinitik siya ni Kris sa noo. "Nalaman ko yun oy! Ang hindi ko gets e bakit pumusta ka kampi kay Jake. Hindi mo pa ba kilala to? Sa lahat nang bagay ang tinik at ang galing galing pero kahit kelan walang swerte sa pustahan."

Pinitik niya pabalik ang matalik na kaibigan. "Hindi mo ba alam na kapag mas maraming tao ang ayaw mangyari ang isang bagay e lalo siyang nangyayari?"

"Lumulusot ka pa!" sagot ni Kris "Wala ka bang bilib sa diskarte ko?!?"

"Bro, pagdating kay Joyce, wasak lahat nang sinasabi mong diskarte" Josh cut in, diving on one of the queen size beds.

"Sira ulo kayong lahat. Si Derrick lang ang naniniwala sa akin" Kris pouted.

"Actually hindi niya alam kung ano yung pinagpupustahan namin nun. Tapos pumusta na lang siya kase nasa meeting siya. Sinwerte lang tong mokong na to" Jake declared as he dived on the other bed.

"Derrick?" Kris called out.

"Bakit ba natin pinag-uusapan yan?" the guy's eyes sparkled "Hindi ba kaya tayo pumunta dito e para ituloy ang inuman???"

It was such an obvious ploy to change the subject.

"I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!" Kris announced "Ni isa ba sa inyo walang naniniwala na kaya kong ligawan si Joyce?!?"

The resounding silence was more than answer enough and Kris immediately tackled RJ and Derrick, who were the closest to him.

Eksakto na natapos sa shower si Ruru at pagbukas nang pinto e itong scene of chaos na ito ang nakita niya.

"Kris, kailangan mo na talaga ligawan si Joyce" the newly-showered man said "Nagiging bayolente ka na. Ganyan talaga kapag pinipigilan ang sarili e."
