By the smile on their faces, Gab knew that today must have been a really great day.

She hugged Maine tightly as her brother assisted her out of the car and felt her spirit rise at the image the other woman presented.

Maine was positively glowing and despite the fact that Gab rarely saw her brother's girlfriend cry and she usually could be found with a beam, alam niya na hindi naman ibig sabihin nun e hindi ito nakaramdam nang lungkot, frustration, o pagkapagod nitong mga nakaraang buwan.

Still, trying to be positive all the time could also take a toll on one's soul and Gab knew na tao pa rin naman ang kaibigan.

However, that smile Maine had on now gave her heart delight.

The other woman looked truly happy.

"Siguro e panahon na para magsimula tayong lahat muli?" she paused as Enzo's words from this morning's brunch came back to her.

She greeted her brother with a hug and hoped that if it had been a great day for the couple, it must mean a great day for that man too.

In the past months, there have been times they have been able to see each other just to talk and catch up.

Enzo had gone through a lot and she found herself extending a hand to him – isang tao na pwede nito makausap, isang tao na pwede nito mahingahan nang bigat na dinadala niya, isang tao na matatawag nitong kaibigan lalo at maliban sa naging matagal ang pag-rerecover ni Louise e nagkaroon pa ito nang Temporally Graded Retrogade Amnesia.

"Akala ko nagsimula na tayong muli six months ago pa" she told him.

Natawa ito, but somehow it sounded hollow.

"Lahat nang sinabi nang kuya mo nagka-totoo."

She shook her head at him, trying to lift his mood up. "Ano ka ba! Louise has started to regain her memories back hindi ba? Naalala ka na niya. Naalala na niya kahit papaano ano ang mga naganap at least five years from the accident. We all thought she would never recover from that pero we have been given a miracle! Huwag kang ganyan!"

The hollowness faded a little and he tried for a smile. Siguro, naisip ko lang na sa mga nakaraang anim na buwan, I continued to still be a hindrance as I experienced everything your kuya said. I cannot imagine how another person survived all that sadness and suffering alone. And he did it far longer than I did."

We all know and understand how sincere you are.

He suddenly looked like a nervous wreck.

It was her turn to smile as she finally understood why the man had asked her out to brunch. After a deep sigh she reminded him, "Enzo... for the first time in months... tinawag ka at niyakap nang asawa mo out of her own will. BAKIT KA BA KINAKABAHAN????"
