"I fell in love with the man's grown-up son." You repeated, and the crowd gasped in awe.
Sans was staring at you.
"And that son, now a man, abandoned me for another woman." You glared at Sans.
"I...I have a good reason..."
"Then go ahead and tell me."
"I met her... and she was just like you. She looked like you. She sounded like you. She was like you, but she wasn't you." Sans started. "But I needed it. I needed her. I needed you and you weren't there."
He stood from his seat, and walked towards you, kneeling.
"But now that I see you, I don't want her. I want you desperately. Hell, I don't have human organs, and we haven't even done anything that would be considered relationship stuff..." Sans wrapped his arm around your head and pulled you in. Your face hit the soft material of his blue sweater. "I'm not a machine, buddy. I have flaws. I feel like you forgot that somewhere."
"I..." You whisper, unable to do anything, unable to move. "I love you, Sans, and it hurt so much. Betrayal hurts so much."
"And I'll do anything to make it up to you." You felt skeletal fingers grasp your chin, tilting it upwards. Something cool hit your lips. It was Sans, and well... the only form of kiss he could ever give.
It was interrupted by someone yanking you back by your hair. You saw Penelope.
"You shouldn't be going after engaged men...you...you...!"
"And you shouldn't be going after men whose hearts belong to someone else." You said, despite the pain. "What does that make you?"
"Get off my sister!" Asriel yelled, and he tackled Penelope to the ground.
Undyne and Asgore came in. "What's going on?" Asgore asked.
"IT MUST BE A SPECIAL EVENT! TAKE THIS, ASGORE!" Undyne tackled Asgore to the ground, mimicking Asirel's tackle. Papyrus jogged in, with a chef's hat, with Toriel close behind. Papyrus was holding a bowl of jello in one hand.
"Wh...what on earth is going on?!" Toriel asked, surprised.
"IT SEEMS LIKE THIS IS A FUN THING FOR EVERYONE TO DO...SO THE GREAT PAPYRUS MUST EXPERIENCE THIS FUN, TOO!" Papyrus ran towards Toriel, and leaped into the air.
"Papyrus, no...!"
It was too late. Papyrus had tackled Toriel to the ground and begun to wrestle as the others were doing.
"EVERYBODY STOP!" You yelled.
"UH OH." Papyrus said.
"Why uh-oh?" Toriel asked, under Papyrus.
"BECAUSE 'STOP' WAS THE KEY WORD TO ACTIVATE THE JELLO."
"Wait, Papyrus, what do you mean by activate the jello?" Undyne said.
"I MEAN IT ACTIVATES THE JELLO."
"That makes no sense. What happens to the jello?"
"IT ACTIVATES."
All of a sudden, in the blink of an eye, the jello grew bigger and we were all being consumed by it.
"OH. IT WAS A LITTLE DELAYED. I MUST REMEMBER THAT FOR NEXT TIME."
As soon as it was up to everyone's waists, it began to slow down, but it was still rising.
"Papyrus, how do you stop it?" You asked, trying to remain calm. It was very difficult, though. You didn't think anyone could possibly remain calm while drowning in jello.
"I DON'T THINK I CAN."
Great. Just lovely.
In the center of the jello, particles began to form to create a man...no, a skeleton...
W.D. Gaster.
