{Warning; LONG AUTHOR'S NOTE BEFORE CHAPTER! INCLUDES A MINI-STORY!}
So I will be posting TWO endings when this book ends. The original one and the modified one. They have the same ending but the content changes and is slightly different. Will be posting a recap over everything (those of you who think this is complicated will love it, it'll make things more easy for those who don't understand. :)) also, thanks so much for following me and voting on my story!! I appreciate every follow, they all really help my name get out there!!!
Won't be posting it until the very end but I reread it and I LOVE it. I am thinking I would write an original story about Ajax, but itd be a little bit of a spoiler since itd have his origin and nature. It would be called Guardian Of Worlds. Wouldn't be in his perspective the entire way through, but instead about a party of three who set out to slay him. (Nothing to do with the Undertale world, Ajax is just an OC with the ability to be used in any fandom. World trees are also heavily tied with him.
Then again, the same could be said for Gaea, but she's more earth than an actual person although she could be reborn anytime.
(Here's a short story)
Long ago, when the god of the universe took a wife, he created three rules. She could not love another, she could not interact with anyone in Hell, and most importantly, she could never, ever, assist any human nor save them from the fate he decided for them. Gaea took to the rules quickly, but one day, her eyes wandered to the Earthensphere. An entire continent had been ravaged by a disease that had took millions of lives; Gaea, due to her good nature, could not turn away. Even if it meant defying her husband, she had to do something. And so, with her entire heart turned towards her decision, Gaea conjured a tree that sat on the edge of the world, where her husband was a bit lax and never bothered to look. She whispered in their heads, allowed her voice to reach all; "If it is a cure you seek, than I, Gaea, have a quest for thee. To the end of the world you shall reach, only then shall you reap the fruit I have grown with my very own heart; there, thou shalt find a tree with a single fruit. Share a bite, be kind to thy neighbor, and this disease will go away, never to return!" The husband did not notice for three days and three nights until he saw humans collecting, hunting for the fruit with their friends and family, as Gaea had told them to do. The husband was curious; he searched for what they were looking for, and as they got closer to the end of the world, he found it. The tree was massive; it outstretched, nearly towards the heavens. The fruit that grew on it was even bigger than he; and for its golden hue, he roared at his wife. "You defied me! Making a cure to a disease that I unleashed, behind my back! Helping those lowly mortals!" Gaea was fearful, for her husband trembled in anger. However, she put on a brave face. "I did so because it was what is right! Mortals are not our toys! They have their free will!" Enraged, the husband tore into Gaea, ripping her heart from her chest. He flew to the tree, blinding every human that saw. "I may not be able to still your beating heart, but if you would betray me for a single tree, you would be inclined to become one yourself!" He ripped the earth to shreds, killing all of mankind. He made new earth, and in it, he laid his wife's heart. A small sprout grew, and the earth burst into flora. So he wouldn't make the same mistake again, instead of flattening the earth, he made it a sphere, using the Earthensphere as the rock. He didn't need it any more. As he flew back to Purgatory, he sealed it shut. No more souls would rest here; Satan could have them all. He refused to look at humanity any longer; they took his wife from him, so he would abandon them. Gaea body sat in a throne of roses, forever held hostage. Gaea's heart forever beats, fueling the earth with new foliage. Gaea was the sacrifice for this world, and humanity was paying for it.
You got out of the car, staring at Sans, who held your clothesbag and was currently hauling it towards the laundromat. It was a nice and forested area, and his car was currently the only one there. Totally not a setting for a horror movie. At all. You hoped it wouldn't become one. Then again, if that was what happened, the attacker would be the body.
Sans would make sure of that. Although, now, you knew Ajax would take care of it first. Who would win in a fight, you wonder? Me or Sans? It would be quite curious. I can say that Gaster may have a chance, but would Sans be able to hit you, as my marionette? After all, the most I can do is use your body to fight.
You willed Ajax's silence for what must have been the 400th time. It was natural, completely and fully. It was like it was a part of you. Although, it was that you dreaded. After all, fusing with Ajax meant the end of you and the beginning of the end. The end of your relationship.
That was a month away. Only a month.
After that, Sans... everyone...
Well, there would be no family reunions after that happened!
Ajax, shut up.
Okay! I will happily agree to this, okaaaaaay?~ This is my anime personality! Call me Ajax-kun, okay, you baaaaaaaaka?
Baaaaaaaaaaka!
You forced its voice out of your head. It was currently being an idiot.
Sans propped open the door for you with his foot, giving you a carefree smile. "Ladybones first." You smiled at him, reveling in the rare moment you were having. It had been a while since you'd seen Sans, so you wanted every minute alone to mean something.
Sans popped open a dryer and dumped your clothes in, slamming it shut with his foot and popping in a few dollars. The laundry machine didn't start, so he stared it down and kicked it as hard as he could. The machine made a groaning, screaming sound, and the clothes started to swish around inside it. He put his hands on the top, and pulled himself up, struggling because he was so short.
You went closer, offering with your body language to help him out by pushing him up, but he only stared you down as he slid back down the machine and furiously scrambled back up it again. Finally, he was sitting on top of it and shaking with the washer.
"So. How's life been?"
"Good. How about yours?"
"Good, good. Uh, Papyrus has been into different kinds of spaghetti lately."
"That's good, that's good."
"Yeah."
We awkwardly sat in silence. Huh. There wasn't much to talk about. It wasn't one of those relationships. We didn't really need to talk to sustain our love, as it was just something that was there. Sans understood that my world didn't revolve around him, and his didn't revolve around mine.
I think we both understood that, and that was why our relationship wouldn't move any further. We were both content with-
In his skeletal hands, as he knelt before me, lay a black box. He opened it, and one of the most beautiful rings I had ever seen, even more adorned with diamonds than Penelope's had been.
"Will you marry me?"
Welp, fuck you, am I right? Bet you're thinking "FUCK ME" right now. Anyways, I just went to get some cheerios and I come back to this?
Wonder what he's gonna think when you just up and disappear.
