You awake, gasping for breath. For some reason, that nightmare left a bitter taste in your mouth. You realized that the bitter taste was your own blood; you had been biting your cheek in your sleep.

You put a finger in your mouth, touching the wound. You wince. It stung.

But pain meant you were still alive.

It had been two days since you agreed to help Devil!Sans. Ever since then, you had been plagued with strange nightmares about the pillars.

The voice talking to you had been distorted and nightmarish, and you were sure you had never met anyone with a voice like that.

The nightmare seemed to repeat whenever you closed your eyes; not only that, but it had been going on for two days, and you felt like it wouldn't go away. In fact, you doubted that you'd ever have another original dream ever again.

No, you knew that nightmare would haunt you. It was also important, but there were some parts you couldn't remember. You only knew it offered you a deal, but... why?

Anyways, it was time for you to go visit Devil!Sans in the forest near Mt. Ebott. You had chased him down when he ran, and he gave you the location of the Devil's Hideout.

You left the house. It was 6 in the morning, and a slight fog was settling on the town you were all staying in. What was it's name? You never really paid attention to that.

You swore you could see nightmarish figures in the distance, but as you approached, it was clear it was nothing more than your head playing tricks on you.

However, sometimes, truth was not something that you wanted to see.

These figures were more than just your head playing tricks.

They surrounded you, gurgles and moans coming from several of them.

As one slid from the mist, you almost couldn't hold in your breakfast.

It looked like Sans and Papyrus combined.

You quickly ran past it. Was that another version of Sans... and/or Papyrus?

The thought of having to face a monster like that scared you. It seemed like things were getting darker; the happiness was just fading away.

You were with Sans, and that was a reason to be happy, right? You had to keep being strong.

Unfortunately,

I have other plans for you.
