Chapter 44 ~ Reconciliation

The person standing in front of you was the exact copy of the one you lost, but with a red tinge of fur.

"I would like to apologize." She said, calmly.

"What are you doing here?" You growled.

"Please..." She whimpered. "You were fighting a battle within yourself to save me. I saw it, I saw it in your eyes. To think someone would go to such lengths for someone like me, I..."

"I'm not a murderer." You stare her down. 

"I came here to thank you and apologize. Please, accept..." Uf!Toriel's head was down, her pride smashed to pieces. "I...need your help."

"You kill my mother, and you want to ask me a favour?"

"No...! Not for me, for everyone else of my world..." She cries out, reaching towards you. "Everyone will either kill or be killed at the rate this is going.."

"They already have." You say, crossing your arms.

"You changed Sans and Papyrus. You changed me! Can you please, please fix everyone else?!" She drops to her knees, her paws hitting the floor. "I beg you! Please! Please save them all!"

"..." You sigh. "Fine. But this doesn't mean I forgive you." 

"Thank you.... thank you so much..." She curls up in a ball, and begins to sob. You step over her, walking towards the door. 

CUE MUSIC! I'm having so much fun with these new additions to wattpad.

You walk down the street, not lagging behind whatsoever. You were headed for the hotel the Underfells resided in, and nothing was gonna stop you. Monsters you once knew as friends looked at you in fear. Nobody understood what had happened, but they seemed to blame you.

You didn't care.

Sans didn't even look at you. You passed right by him, and he acted as if you didn't exist. What was new? It's not like you could have ever worked anyways. 

"Sans...." 

That caught his attention. His eyesockets were black.

"You're a f*cking dick." 

A look of pure shock crossed his face, and you strode by him. THIS IS THE PERFECT SONG DEAR LORD

The first floor of Hotel Underfell. You kicked open the doors, and strode right in, much to the Uf!'s confusion. You were done with being polite. Toriel was your only link to happiness. She was your only support. These monsters didn't deserve what they were getting, but you'd give it to them.

"Uh, babe... Why are you here?" Underfell Sans asked, jogging down a small set of stairs towards you. "It's really a bad time to try and get me alone." 

"I'm not here for you." You pushed Uf!Sans aside, and walked straight to Uf!Asgore. "You."

"Me, what?" Uf!Asgore snarled.

"I'm the new problem solver for alternate worlds." You crossed your arms, raising an eyebrow. If people were gonna treat you like one, you might as well officially declare it. "And we have a problem."

"And what are you gonna do about it?" Uf!Undyne chuckled.

"I'm gonna grill some fish tonight, if it's not fixed." You glare at Undyne, who glared straight back. She had gotten the message.

"And who do you think you are?" Uf!Asgore sneered, his red eyes looking you up and down.

"I'm your new babysitter, darling. Three days. I'm moving in, and you're going to behave. Your wife requested that I SAVE you all, from yourselves. It's the least I can do for the woman who once taught me kindness. The very first person I ever met, my mother." You laughed. "Got a problem, sheep?"

"I'm not a sheep." He growled.

"That's a large change in personality. What has happened to you? You've grown...almost nasty." Uf!Papyrus was at your side.

"I'm sick of showing MERCY with words. I'm sparing their lives, isn't that more than enough? Besides, it was my choice to accept this duty."

That shut him up.
