As Ajax did its song and dance, you were hit by a massive wave of nostalgia. It's only friend? It certainly didn't consider you a friend when you started hearing it's voice.
That was what got the alarms blaring in your head.
You could feel Ajax's hands gently touching your soul. Even though it should hurt massively, it does not.
What was this? Was someone playing a prank?
You were about to take a long trip down memory lane.
Before the resets..."Ajax, you're back!" You called cheerfully, running towards the figure that exited the white light. It was tall, extremely so. The clothes it wore were dark in nature; a black trench coat, a black t shirt, and black jeans.
Ajax could be male or female at this point. (Fun fact: Ajax's voice switches from male, to female, to a child's, to an old person's. All the time. In the middle of sentences, even.) It's face was blocked from your memory, but this feeling... you were sure it was Ajax.
"Ah, _______. I can always count on you to be here when I'm feeling strangely upset."
"Where else can I possibly go? You trapped me in the moon!" You turn surprisingly violent towards Ajax, throwing a stick at it. It raised its arm, and the stick simply bounced off it.
"You need to work on your strength. And I only did this because the world down below is ravaged by war."
"We used to go out all the time and explore all of the pretty places!" You flop down onto the soft grass of the meadow in the moon. It was actually kind of fitting, because there were moon sheeps. They were golden sheeps.
Yummy, yummy moon sheeps. Their wool tasted like chocolate.
"We can't do that now. I'm saying this for your own good; you must stay here, so I may do my job and such. When the war is over, we will once more explore the universe."
You sat up, sparkles in your eyes. "You mean it?!"
"Yes, I mean it."
You flop back down on your stomach, still slightly depressed. You were getting earth envy. It had been about 2 years since Ajax had trapped you here. "Why do you have to be the stupid god of-"
From there, the memory fizzled out. You wanted more; you wanted to know what Ajax looked like, what it was a god of... there were so many questions and so little answers.
You readied yourself. You needed to knock out Devil!Papyrus.
You'd trust Ajax for now, but... were you really a hundred years old?
