I'm actually gathering my creativity before I write the next chapter. I'll be picking this fanfiction back up on Saturday. The next chapter is inevitable and I literally need to think of a way to stop it from happening.

Until I have a solid gameplan, enjoy this little short of what becomes of our world 2,500 years later. [The story is The Dragon Within]

"The mist won't let us leave. It is the only thing blocking our way. It tangles our senses, confuses us. It is difficult to understand." He murmured, staring down at the ground with a blank look on his face. Poor guy.

"Would there be a dragon who knows more about the mist than you?" I asked.

"No. There's nobody around here older than me that isn't dead or insane." He stood from his kneeling position. "I am two thousand years old. Two thousand five hundred years, actually, but extra numbers make me feel ancient."

"You technically are. That was a time when people actually used grounded cars. People still do, but because of the different districts, they're restricted in certain places. You can pretty much only use them in the 'pre-world-war 4 district.' Someone actually finds that kind of vintage adorable. Germany was completely destroyed while France accidentally set a nuke on the wrong co-ordinates and blew up Canada." I forgot how fun history class was. After world war 4, people ended up just fucking up even more until all of the countries died. And then, the Royal family was established, leading to the tyrant king or 'royal dickhead' as I like to privately call him, taking the throne.

The tyrant king controlled the entire world. There was no separation. There was no other leaders. The king's word became law.

And the king just happened to be an asshole.
