Chapter 46

Josh POV

I race into the building after Matt takes over looking after Lily at home. I hit the elevator button and wait impatiently. "Mr Evans? Everything ok?" Arnie the doorman asks approaching me. "Colleen ok?" He asks seeing I am upset. I hug him tight. "Thank you Arnie for telling us she was here. She will be fine now" I say as I release him and run onto the elevator. I hop off after a few minutes until I race down the hall to her office. Colleen is laying in Rachel's arms on the floor. "Babe" I say as I sink to my knees. I grab her hands and kiss them as I scoop her towards me as she cries. Rachel and Chris leave as they touch my shoulder and close the door. "Colleen why did you leave? I was so worried and upset" I ask. "I don't want an abortion. Why can't we keep the baby?" She sobs. "It is hurting your body. I need you with me and Lily" I say wiping her face as she stares at me. "I am not doing it Josh. I won't. I know you won't support me" she cries. "Colleen I don't want to either but baby I ...." I say before she starts getting up. "Babe where are you going?" I ask holding her up. "If you can't support me than I need to do this alone" she says. My heart shatters. "What?" I ask getting emotional as I grab her again. "Colleen you could die" I say begging her. "From the moment we met I always put you before me Joshua. Your love for me made me love you even more. I need to put this baby before me again. You gave me this baby and I won't do anything but try my best to carry it" she says. I am sobbing without even realizing it. "Oh baby why do you say those heart wrenching love things to me. You know I am going to cave" I say giggling as I pull her in close to me. I grab her face and kiss her deeply against the wall. My kiss makes her moan against me. She stops kissing me and stares at me. "Don't ever run away again" I say leaning my forehead against hers. "I won't" she says as she slightly pushes me away. "Josh I need to lay down" she says. I bring her down to the floor and lay her between my legs as I wrap my arms around her belly. I am kissing her neck trying to get her to relax. Her breathing is quick. "Colleen?" I ask looking at her face. "I am good. Just tired and emotional" she says. "Lets go home and back to bed babe" I say as she nods. I stand up and scoop her up and carry her to the elevator as she wraps her arms around my neck. Rachel and Chris smile as they see me. I mouth thank you to them as I pass them. I have got my girl back.
