It Needs to Happen

Chapter 59

Colleen POV

I lay in Josh's arms but am worried about everything. I almost feel panicky. I am used to being in control and with my health and Noah's it's just not the case. He knows I am upset. Just trying to deflect him from my main worries. I am still sore as his hands rest along my chest. Finally the doorbell rings and he goes to grab our sushi as I head to the bathroom. I sit down on the edge of the tub and just try and relax. "Babe?" Josh asks as he knocks. I stand up and wipe my face and open the door. He looks at my face and instantly grabs me. "Please whats wrong? Are you sick?" He asks. "No" I say. I try and release myself from his grip but he holds tighter. I look up at him and he is starting to cry. "Why won't you tell me?" He asks. "Oh babe. I am just worried I won't be here for long and..." I start to say. "Where are you going?" He asks sarcastically. "My health Joshua. I worry" I say. "Babe you are all fixed now" he says. "Hope so" I say smiling. We walk down the hallway in silence as we hold hands. I sit and eat as he stares at me in every bite. "Colleen just give it time and you will be fine. I am the biggest worrier and I am not worried" he says. I nod and smile. I feel his hands pull me onto his lap as we are sitting side by side at the coffee table. I hug him tight as he kisses my neck. "I am never letting go baby. Ever" he says. I pull out of the hug and we start to kiss. "Love you" he breathes as we makeout. I run my hands through his hair and get into the moment as I straddle him. "Baby. Your heart babe" he says stopping. "You think you are that good?" I say jokingly. He starts to laugh. "I hope so" he says squeezing me. "Have to wait until you are healed. Doctors orders" he says. "I cannot wait babe. I need to feel you" I whisper. "Holy shit Colleen. You are killing me woman!" he says laughing.

We spend the next few days visiting Noah in the hospital and just relaxing at home. I feel better each day especially with his love. It is almost curing me on its own. As I make a tea in the kitchen one morning my phone starts ringing. "Hello?" I ask as Josh approaches me holding Lily. I nod as I listen with tears in my eyes. "Babe who is it?" Josh asks me holding my hand. I hang up sobbing . "Noah can come home" I say. He starts to cry as we hug. I am so thankful.
