I miss you

Luke watched as Ashton, Michael, Calum, Ashley and Alex danced stupidly around the living room as Journey blared through the speakers. Ashton and Michael were playing air guitar while Calum and Ashley danced to their own made up choreography and Alex sang along. Luke couldn't help but smile. He really enjoyed seeing Ashton so carefree. He always seemed tense or stressed so when he just let go it was always a nice sight.

"They're cute together huh?" Jake asked taking a seat next to Luke.

"What?" Luke frowned in confusion at Jake.

"Michael and Ashton, they're cute together." Jake said gesturing to the two laughing together.

"Oh." Luke didn't know what to say.

"I'm guess Michael hasn't told you?" Jake asked raising a brow.

"Told me what?" Luke asked looking back at his twin.

"About him and Ashton." Jake answered taking a sip of his beer.

"What about him and Ashton?" Luke pressed.

"Oh come on. Look at them. Tell me you haven't noticed they spend an awful lot of time together." Jake leaned back against the couch.

"Well some...but they're just friends." Luke shook his head.

"Maybe in Ashton's eyes but Michael has other thoughts." Jake shrugged.

"Why do you say that?" Luke asked feeling slightly worried.

"Well he immediately started flirting with Ashton day one. He's pretty possessive of him. He even threatened me about treating him a certain way when we went out earlier. Then he got super jealous cause I was about to win Ashton over." Jake explained.

"You were about to win him over?" Luke asked trying to seem disinterested.

"Yeah, he let me kiss him. I mean really kiss him. He is an amazing kisser."

"Yeah, he is." Luke mumbled.

"What?" Jake asked suddenly.

"I said I bet he is." Luke lied hoping Jake would buy it.

"He really is. He's so passionate, god I can only imagine what he would be like in bed." Jake sighed.

Luke bit his lip ring but said nothing.

"Anyway, Michael interrupted the moment Ashton and I were having. I think with a little more time I can probably have him eating out of my hand." Jake smiled.

"He's not your fucking pet bird, Jake." Luke snapped. He instantly regretted it.

"Whoa, what's your problem?" Jake asked frowning at his brother.

"Nothing." Luke shook his head.

"No, you never snap at me like that. You know how I date people, why are you getting so upset over this?" Jake pressed much to Luke's dismay.

"He's a nice guy Jake, he doesn't deserve to be hurt by you." Luke sighed.

"Since when do you care how I treat my dates?" Jake snapped.

"I don't." Luke huffed.

"Well obviously you do." Jake crossed his arms.

"Look, I'm sorry. I'm just having a rough evening and I took it out on you." Luke sighed standing up.

"Wait, why are you having a rough evening? What's wrong? Did something happen?" Jake asked grabbing Luke's arm suddenly worried about his brother.
