Warning, dis be some sad ass shit

Soulmates. Everyone one has a soulmate, we're taught that in school. We're taught about the marks on our chests, and how, when we meet our soulmate, they'll have the same Mark. Mine is simple enough, 3 circles interlocking, black blue, green. I have to wonder, through all the relationships, and drunken hook ups, how have I not met them. I talk to my friends, I see them each have their soul mates, Bob and Mandy, Matthias and Amanda, hell, even WADE had met his match before me. I suppose Mark hadn't met his yet, but with the amount of girls swooning over him and a few guys too, including myself, it wouldn't be long.
"Hey jack, you ok? You've been zoned out for like 10 minuets now"
"W-what? Oh yeah, I'm fine" I said, quickly remembering where I was. Walking to my hotel with Mark after a night of drinking and gaming at marks place, while we were all in LA. I'd told him I'd be ok, but he insisted
"So, what were you even thinking about?" He asked, chuckling "Oh, nothing really, just the whole soulmate thing"
"Yeah, it's pretty weird, I'll admit"
"Hey markimoo, whats yo-"
A dark figure walked over to us, pulling a silver glinting object from his pocket
"GIVE ME YOUR MONEY, NOW"
"Hey man, we don't want any trouble, just put the knife do-"
The object was plunged into Mark. Terrified, I thew my wallet to the guy, who quickly ran off.
I called an ambulance, wrapping my arms around Mark, keeping my hands over the bleeding wound
And that's when the pain hit.
Blinding, white hot pain tore through my chest. And in horror, I realise what was going on. I was sure it couldn't be real, but, blushing brightly, I pulled my shirt off quickly and looked down. My Mark was fading
"Jack" Mark coughed "your Mark, it's-"
Tears welled in both our eyes
"It's yours, isn't it?" I whispered, the salty drops racing down my face
"Y-yeah" he laughed weakly "so the Internet was right then? Septiplier really was cannon?"
I doubled over as the pain increased
"I-I guess so"
He smiled softly "screw it, if I'm dying anyway, I may as well go for it"
"Mark what the hell are you on about"
He pressed his lips against mine. The kiss tasted of tears, desperation and love. Could you ever get enough of a kiss like that? I didn't think so. We pulled back for air, both of us blushing brightly
My pain started to weaken and I panicked
"No no no no! Mark, don't you DARE die on me! You can't leave me without a soulmate! I can't do this alone!"
"Yes you can, I love you"
Then, the pain ended completely, the Mark faded, and my soulmate's heart stopped
I was alone.
"No, no no no no no no no!" I screamed, "I'm not doing this alone." I fumbled desperately in my pockets, pulling out a pen knife I found and lying beside Mark. I slid my hand into his, closed my eyes and smiled
"Septiplier away"
