Stories (part 2)

(See, told you I'd write a part two!)

Jack smiled to himself, he'd thought hard about how he wanted to propose to Mark, and after giving up himself and asking the kids about it, the three had come up with an idea between them. Sam had been really excited when Jack told her he wanted to ask Mark to marry him, so had Tim, and Jack was glad. He loved the kids, and he was happy that they cared about him and Mark too. Since it was Mark's turn to put them to bed tonight, Sam and Tim started the plan off.

"Dad please" Tim whined, "come on we're not even tired!"
Mark shook his head "sorry guys, bed time"
The kids shook their heads and laughed "no way" Sam said "we won't sleep anyway, pa rubbed off on us" she smiled.
"But, maybe we could go to sleep" Tim nodded "if he told us another story?"
Mark rolled his eyes and stood up "fine, I'll go get him"
Mark left the room and the kids jumped up, smiling.
"I told you It would work" Sam laughed "we didn't have to wait till tomorrow!"
"Do you think dad will say yes?" Tim asked and Sam nodded
"Of course he will." She smiled "he loves pa! now remember, we have to stay awake until the end of the story this time. I want to see them"
"I know, I know. I'm happy for them" Tim smiled "you know, so many people would love to be in our position. Helping their otp get engaged"
Sam nodded, moving quickly to her bed "we're lucky kids" she smiled, sitting up quickly when Mark and Jack came back into the room.

"Right" Jack smiled, sitting on the end of sam's bed again, like he had the week before "what story do you want then?"
Sam climbed onto Jack's knee and smiled up at him, as though she didn't know exactly what to say. "Can you tell us another YouTube story?"
Tim climbed out of his own bed, and onto Mark's knees "yeah! About King Iplier and King Sean?"
"Ok then" Jack smiled, making a mental note to buy the kids something tomorrow, they really were brilliant little actors.
He mimed thinking what to talk about again, before nodding "ok, I've got it"

(Story time)

King Sean and King Iplier lived together in a small castle, with their two kids princess Sam and prince Tim. The longer King Sean lived with King Iplier, the more sure he was that he was in love. Eventually, King Sean realised, he wanted to ask King Iplier to marry him

Jack was smiling, looking at Sam and Tim or straight ahead, but he could almost feel Mark's eyes widen as he continued.

The problem was though, King Sean wasn't very good at being romantic, in fact he was pretty clueless about the whole thing! Luckily for him though, the young prince and princess were there to help him. The three worked hard to come up with an idea, and it took them almost a full week to work it out! But when they did, King Sean was sure it would be perfect. They were just sitting at home, the kids were asleep, and the two kings were curled up together watching something stupid on tv, when King Sean smiled. He got up and walked into the he kitchen, quickly making two drinks, and dropping a ring into one of them. He walked back to the living room and handed the drink with a ring to King Iplier. When he took a drink, the ring rubbed against his tongue, and when he pulled it out, King Sean smiled at him and got down on one knee

"And that's how King Sean proposed to King Iplier" Jack finished, and Sam crawled off his knee and into bed, Tim did the same.
"Pa?" Sam asked, looking up at her dad, and fighting the urge to smile "what did King Iplier say?"
Tim nodded "yeah! You can't leave us on that"
Jack shrugged "well I don't know what he said, so I can't tell you for sure. But I hope he said yes" Jack took a deep breath, and pulled a small box out of his pocket, opened it and got down on one knee in front of Mark.
"What do you think Mark?"
Mark blinked hard, trying to convince himself this was really happening. He smiled, happy tears in his eyes as he nodded "I'm sure he said yes"
Jack couldn't stop the huge smile on his face as he slid the ring onto Mark's finger. He stood up and instantly the two were hugging, smiles on both their faces, as they felt the kids run up and join in the hug.

Mark tilted Jack's head to face him and kissed him, and Jack had never been happier in his life. He had gotten his very own fairytale ending
