Anniversary

(I have re homework I should be doing but screw that! Here's an update instead)

Mark never forgot important dates. He always knew when someone's birthday was coming and he always managed to remember when it was his friends anniversaries.

But apparently, not his own.

Sure him and Jack weren't married, but they had a mini anniversary ever year, on the day they first got together. Mark had never forgotten it, until this year.

"Happy anniversary Mark" Jack smiled at his boyfriend, holding out a small box. It was pretty poorly wrapped, but Mark loved it even more because of that. He knew Jack wasn't the best at wrapping, but it was sweet that he always tried.
"Aww,thanks clover" he smiled and kissed him "happy anniversary to you too. You'll get yours later, ok? But can I open mine now"
Jack blushed from the kiss and nodded happily "I hope you like it, i thought it was pretty cool at least."
Mark smiled again and quickly opened the gift. Inside was a pair of plane tickets.
"Surprise" Jack laughed "we're going to Spain next week. So's Ryan, Matt, wade and Bob! We all wanted to go somewhere other than a convention as a group, so we decided to go on holiday together."
"Jack, that's amazing!" Mark laughed, picking his boyfriend up and spinning him "you're the best"
"Damn right I am! but please put the leprechaun down, I think I'm going to be sick"
Mark smiled and stopped spinning with him "ok, I promise I'll give you yours later, but i still need to finish part of it, ok?"
"Ok. well I need to start a few videos for next week anyway, love youuu"
"Love you toooo" Mark smiled as Jack walked back to his recording room. Thankfully, Mark actually did have an idea now, he smiled to himself and headed out the door.

It wasn't until about 3 hours later Jack found out what his gift was, when his phone went crazy with everyone tweeting at him.
"@markiplier @jacksepticeye world's cutest video!"
"Why isn't @jacksepticeye talking about @markiplier's new video!"
"@markiplier @jacksepticeye do you see why this is my otp yet! THAT WAS ADORABLE"

Curious, Jack searched for Mark's channel, he knew what everyone was tweeting about  when he saw the new video.

"Septiplier aniversary"

Jack clicked onto it and sat back, a smile on his face. The video started with a small intro from Mark
"Hello everybody, my name is markiplier and today is kind of a big deal for me. As most, if not all of you know, me and Jack have been together for nearly 2 years now. So as you can probably guess, this video is my anniversary present to him. when you end up watching this Jack, I hope you love it as much as I love you. But I seriously doubt that's possible"

Already Jack could feel tears in his eyes, but that was only the intro. Mark faded out and a black screen showed up as the song "I think I wanna marry you" by Bruno Mars started playing.

"Hey Jack" the white text showed up on the screen and stayed there for a while before fading to some fan art of the two. This repeated several times, a sentence or two, then an image, either fan art or a photo of them

"This video is my anniversary present for you"
"But it's also a lot more than that"
"This video was going to be a way for me to tell you how much you mean to me"
"But I don't think there's a word to describe that yet"
"So instead, I'll just say thank you"
"Thank you for being the reason I can smile on the worst days"
"Thank you for being there when I need someone to cry to"
"Thank you for being the crazy energetic person you are"
"Thank you for making me fall in love with you"
"But most of all"
"Thank you for falling in love with me"
"You know"
"One thing that took me a while to work out for this video was the music"
"The fan art was easy, there's plenty of talented people in the fandom"
"And I knew what I wanted to say to you"
"But the music, took a while"
"But I think I got the right song"
"In fact, I know I did because"

The music faded out and the screen cut back to Mark, who was on one knee with a ring box in his hand. Mark took a deep breath and continued where the song left off

"Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you" Mark smiled at the camera "actually, that's not entirely true, because I know I want to marry you. I just hope you feel the same"
The screen faded into one last fan art of them as the video ended.
Jack was openly crying by now and he couldn't stop the smile on his face
"M-Mark" he called, and his boyfriend walked into the room with a smile.
"I saw the video, are you serious"
Mark looked directly at Jack "do you really think I'd have posted it if I wasn't. Yes I'm serious"
"Then of course I feel the same"
Mark smiled and pulled the ring box out of his pocket and opened it
"Make sure it fits then?"
Jack laughed and slid the ring into his finger, smiling wider than ever "i love you so much"
"I love you more" Mark replied "hey, we should post a selfie on Twitter. So everyone knows the result."
Jack nodded and Mark grabbed his phone. They stood with Jack's hand out with the ring on, and Mark's arm that wasn't holding the camera around him
