Did Mark and Jack have morning rituals? Sort of. To them, it was mostly a case of taking turns doing things like making the coffee, or who got to go first in the shower, then working out who was using what console that day. There were small things the couple did every morning, things like Always waiting for the other to wake up, so they could spend a few minuets cuddled against each other, before getting up to start the day. These were the moments of quiet promises for the future, of lazy kisses and mumbled "five more minuets".
Then there was the fact that, even though they'd originally agreed to take turns, Jack always made breakfast. This was partly because Jack loved cooking, and partly because Mark's ability to make breakfast stopped at half-burned toast. If it was Jack's birthday though, Mark usually insisted on going out and getting either pancakes or McDonald's, since he didn't like Jack working more than he had to on birthdays. If it was Mark's birthday, Jack made waffles.
Other then than though, their "routines" were little more than random talking over coffee, or just quietly procrastinating recording and editing for a few more moments with the other. They didn't want a planned and set up day, it was more fun making it up as you went along, and the accidental parts of their mornings that became almost routine, were just little exceptions. Neither of them wanted it any other way
