Mark had lost all ability to think.

At first, going through old photos of the two had seemed like a fun way to spend an afternoon. so, after a lot of digging, Mark had found his old photo album, and a few weeks later, Jack's came from his parents in Ireland. At first it had been a lot of fun. Laughing at baby photos while the other person blushed was great, and watching yourself getting older through moments in time, taken and locked away in ink, was pretty cool. But then they'd managed to reach the... Older photos. These were mostly taken by friends or themselves, because to say their parents probably wouldn't have been happy with the things the photos showed was an understatement.

The one Mark had managed to find, was of Jack with 3 other boys. He looked around 18 in the photo, and his outfit was almost entirely black, a sleeveless denim jacket being the only colour on him, unless you counted the fake tattoos around his arms. His ears had skull studs in them, and he was smirking at the camera, a pair of drumsticks in his hand.
"Did I never tell you I was in a band" Jack laughed, looking at his boyfriends face.
"I think so, but I didn't know it was...."
"A rock band?" Jack burst out laughing again "seriously?" He took the photo from Mark and looked at it with a smile "it was the last full gig we did. Then everyone had plans, I haven't spoken to any of the others since. y'know, I think I still have this outfit somewhere. Wonder if it still fits."
Jack was watching Mark's reaction, smirking when he saw his boyfriend blushing at the thought. They continued going through the albums, nothing else really standing out to either of them, and eventually closed the books.
"I really can't be bothered to cook, do you want to get a take out?" Mark asked, stretching as he turned to his boyfriend.
"If you go and get it, sure." Jack chuckled "what are we getting?"
"I don't really mind, pizza?"
"Sounds great!"
"Ok, I'll just get the usual one, right?"
"Of course, now go, I'm starving!"

Mark rolled his eyes and got up, pressing a kiss to Jack's cheek as he did. When Mark had left, Jack sprung into action, racing upstairs and into the attic, looking for the outfit from the photo. It took a lot of looking, but he did find it, even the earrings! By the time Mark got home, he was sprawled out on the sofa, outfit on, smirking when he heard the American come in.
"I was right. It still fits"
Mark's eyes widened, and anything he had been planning to say shot into his throat and lodged there.
"For God's sake" Jack rolled his eyes "would you stop staring at me and get over here!"
Mark happily complied
