(Sorry guys, couldn't bring myself to write something smutty :/ so instead I'm cheating because of how the prompt was worded)

It was raining. Of course it was, it was Ireland! At first bringing Sam to meet her grandparents had been a good idea, until Jack remembered the weather. He'd taken Sam out shopping since she wanted to get presents for her friends back home, and Mark had stayed back to help Jack's mother cook, because he was good at it and he loved it. At first the weather had been fine, one of the rare days that resembled summer, and then it had changed. The sky had darkened, and it had started raining. It was only light at first, so they stayed out, and then it started storming. They sighed and started walking back home, jack was ok, since his coat had a hood, but Sam was shivering slightly as she clung to her hoodie, which was already dripping wet. Jack shrugged his coat off, draping it around the little girl's shoulders. It completely covered her body, but she smiled gratefully and slipped her arms into the sleeves. By the time they arrived home, Sam was still shivering, but no where near her dad's level. Jack was completely soaked, and Mark took one look at him before bursting out laughing.
"Shut up" he grumbled, and Mark wrapped his arms around him
"Come on clover. Go get a shower or something and warm up. We can eat afterwards" Jack nodded and wandered upstairs, Mark still laughing quietly.

When Jack stumbled out of the bathroom in clean clothes, he rolled his eyes to see Mark had managed to make a small fort out of the blankets and pillows.
"Mark, what the hell are you doing?" He laughed, Mark poked his head out of the opening with a smile.
"It's fort BlamAss 2.0" he replied, pulling Jack inside with him, wrapping his arms around the Irishman and holding him close. They stayed like that for a few minuets before the comfortable warmth that enveloped them lulled then to sleep.
They woke up a few hours later, to two plates of sandwiches and home-made biscuits sitting in front of the den, along with a little note. The handwriting was slightly uneven, so the pair laughed as they realised that Sam had made them dinner, since they must have missed it. They stayed huddled together like this until the den was too hot to stay in
