(For all my fellow anime nerds, love y'all. This fic is exactly what it sounds like. If enough people want it, might make this into a multi chapter fanfic tho)

They'd been walking through the grassy areas outside of the first floor when it happened
"On November 7th at 2:55pm, the game has been cleared. Repeat, the game has been cleared"
The voice echoed through the sky, and Mark turned to Jack, to scared to let himself believe it. Shakily, Jack opened his menu and noticed the option was there. They could log out.
"Oh my god..." He whispered, tears in his eyes "I can... We can..."
Mark, who was crying too, wiped his eyes and smiled "we can go home"
The pair hugged each other tightly and laughed, happy tears sliding down their faces. After 2 long years, they could go home. Could see their friends and family again. But then, Jack realised something, what would happen to him and Mark? Mark had made the darkest, most terrifying part of his life into an amazing experience, and he wasn't sure he wanted to let someone like that slip away from him.
"Mark... What's going to happen to us?" He asked "I mean, we've never met in real life and..."
Mark kissed him and smiled "and what? I fell in love with you here, what's going to change if we meet in real life?" Jack sighed "I guess but, we live so far apart"
"And?" Mark chuckled "I love you Jack, you could live on the moon and I'd still want to be with you. A long distance will suck, but it'll be worth it. If you want to, that is"
Jack smiled and kissed Mark again "I do."
Mark reached out and grabbed his hand "you know, we were married in the game,"
Jack laughed "maybe someday markimoo." He sighed and squeezed his hand "you ready?"
Mark nodded and squeezed back "I guess. See you on the other side Jack"
"See you on the other side"
And with their hands tightly gripping the other's, they opened their menu and logged out.
