(Jacks PoV)
I was totally lost in my own thoughts, of the future, the past, right now? I never had a plan for life, and I guess that's how I wound up here. unsure of my next step, I'd risked everything and moved to LA, a crazy, last resort plan that had happened after a breakdown about being totally terrified of being trapped in a rut forever. I'd been here about a week, and though I knew a few people here and there, but I hadn't really met any new friends.
Except him
a random man with chocolate brown eyes, the way his hair looked so soft and fluffy, and his body! Oh god, the way his muscles showed through whatever he wore, the usually tight jeans the clung to him. He was gorgeous, really, really gorgeous. I saw him often enough, in game shops or out shopping, and every time I found myself looking over to him, and once or twice, I saw him looking back.
Like right now.
I guess I'd been looking at him again, by accident while I was lost in my own mind.
And he was looking back
I'm going red aren't I?
He's looking at me
Oh god I'm blushing aren't I
He's noticed

"Ok, this is getting ridiculous" he laughed, his eyes sparkled when he did "we see each other all the damn time, and I've seen you looking at me"
I've definitely gone red now
"And I can't say I've never looked over at you" he rubbed his neck, blushing slightly
Oh my god is he shy?
Did he just get cuter?
"Anyway, since I'm going to go crazy if I don't talk to you" he held out his hand, smiling "I'm Mark"
I nervously shook his hand
"I-I'm Jack"
"Well, since I've got nothing to loose by asking this, do you want to maybe get coffee with me sometime, say, next Tuesday at 3?"
"I-I'd love to!"
"Cool, see you around jackaroonie" he chuckled
"See you later markimoo"
