Our year

"Oh my god, it has been one hell of a year Mark" Jack smiled he as Bob and wade sat down on the grass. It hadn't rained in a while, so the grass was dry, and the place they sat gave them the perfect view of the sun, which was slowly starting to lower. "There's so much to say. Where do we even start?"
Wade nodded "well how about the fact that I finally hit one million subs!" He cheered and Jack rolled his eyes, laughing "it was deserved, after so long working for it! We're all super proud of wade. Bob too, because he finally has to grow up"
Bob smiled and punched Jack playfully "hey! I am grown up you dick! anyway It's not like I'm the first person to be a father" he laughed
"So yeah, wade has 1 million idiots to be friends with, Bob has to look after a smaller version of himself, and I went on tour with nsp as a drummer." he smiled "I guess all of us have something to be proud of this year"
Bob smiled again and nodded "oh hey, don't forget about Felix"
Jack was confused for a moment, then remembered "oh yeah, I totally forgot. The Swedish meatball finally got the courage to propose to Marzia!"
Bob laughed "took him long enough, we all knew it was coming though"
"So it wasn't surprising she said yes" wade nodded
"Well, I never said that" Bob smirked
"True. But guys seriously, have you realised so many of us developed relationships his year" Jack said "it's amazing! I mean, Matt and Ryan finally got together, Bob and Mandy are having a baby, Felix and Marzia are getting married, Amanda had the baby." Jack shook his head "it's incredible how many of us really grew up in a year."

"It really is" Bob agreed "it's scary too. I mean, we are grown men who get payed to play video games and act like morons on camera. But I've got a kid on the way, wade and Molly moved in together, Matthias has a daughter, i mean, even DANNY has a serious girlfriend now!" Bob shook his head "it's crazy"

Wade nodded "you're right about one thing. It's been scary. Very, scary. But would any of us want any different? Could you honestly see yourself being anywhere but where you are right now? It's been a crazy, uncertain, bumpy ride to get here." Wade smiled "but I couldn't have wished for a better life"

Jack laughed "I'd drink to that!"

The group laughed and talked for almost an hour more, until they decided to head back.
"Well, this has been fun" Bob smiled "and wade nodded "Jack you coming?"
Jack shook his head "I'll catch up to you guys, don't worry"
The pair nodded and walked away.

Jack sighed "has it really been a year already? Doesn't feel like it does it! It's crazy to think how much has changed, and yet it feels like it's been a week at most since I was last here." Jack stood up at last, smiling and running his hand over the cold stone of his friends grave. "I'll see you soon Mark, it's only a month till our anniversary after all. But for now," he pulled a small card out of his bag and placed it down in front of The grave. "Happy birthday Mark. I love you" he sighed again, turned and started walking away, smiling sadly as he did. He swore, he could almost hear Mark's familiar, warm voice echoing in his ears as he did
