(still couldn't find her name so jack's now ex is still called Kate. Also, this actually hurt to write! I write fluffy feels, not angst, and if I write a fight I always resolve it. This was horrible to end, since I can't make stuff happy until tomorrow)

Mark's brow furrowed  as he read over the people Jack had wanted to invite to the wedding. Most of them were family or friends from back in Ireland, but one name stuck out to Mark.

"Jack!" He shouted upstairs to the Irishman "why the hell do you want to invite HER?"
Jack sighed, walking over to the top of the stairs and shouted back down to the American.
"because she's my friend Mark. Besides Kate's cool"
"I know, but she's your ex Jack. I'm not inviting Amy!"
"I wouldn't care if you did! Unlike you, I'm not possessive"
"I'm not possessive! I just don't understand why you'd want your ex at your wedding. Or do you just want a reason to see her again"

That hurt. That really, seriously hurt Jack. Did Mark really think he'd be enough of an asshole that he'd cheat on Mark at their wedding? The hurt quickly mixed with anger as he headed down stairs to stand in front of him.

"You really think I'd cheat on you at our wedding? It's not enough that I agreed to marry you is it? I have to loose contact with a friend" He spat
Mark glared at him "I'm not asking you to loose contact with her, I'm asking you to not invite her to the wedding! It's not much to ask is it!"
"Yes actually, it is!" Jack said, angry tears in his eyes "because it just proves you don't trust me enough to keep a friend close to me because she USED to be my girlfriend. 'Used to be' Mark, as in I don't love her anymore!"
"It doesn't seem like that." Mark said, his voice completely flat "you wouldn't be so defensive about it if she was just a friend"
Jack swallowed hard, refusing to cry now
"You know what? Fine. If you actually think I'd cheat on you, than maybe I shouldn't have someone to cheat on." Jack stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind his before he finally let himself cry. It wasn't until the door had crashed loudly back into place that Mark really realised what had just happened.
"Maybe I shouldn't have someone to cheat on"
Jack had just broke up with him.

With tears in his eyes and panic in his voice, Mark grabbed his phone and called the first person he could think of

"Dan, I screwed up. Bad."
