I felt the morning sun, blinding my eyes, so I yawned and opened up my eyes. I stretched out my arms and then sat up. I looked around to see that I was not in my bedroom.

I immediately pulled the covers off of me and then looked around the room. It was really nice. The walls were a baby blue color, and the covers on the bed were white and baby blue, to match the walls. There was a nice dresser in the corner and a wooden nightstand beside me. I saw that there were two doors, one of them probably was for a closet or bathroom.

I pulled myself up, and now that I was standing, I felt something in my stomach. God dammit, I’m gonna sick. I better hope that that door leads to a bathroom, not a closet.

I quickly headed to the door, and pulled it open. Thankfully, it was a bathroom, so I quickly threw open the toilet seat and hunched over it. I vomited up all the alcohol. I pulled away, flushing the toilet when I was done, then washed out my mouth and washed my hands. I walked out of the bathroom, and decided to walk out of the room. Might as well figure out where the hell I am.

I grabbed my shoes, which were beside my bed and threw them over my feet. I then headed out of the room and into a hallway, lit by the morning sun. The soles of my shoes made a soft padding noise, as I walked. I found myself walking into what looked like a living room. It was really nice, and looked really expensive.

That’s when I saw her. It was the girl from last night. Her curly hair from last night wasn’t in perfect curls; it was messy, sticking up at random places. Most of her makeup was washed off, but it looks like she forgot to wash off the eyeliner. She was wearing an oversized gray T-shirt and a pair of polka dot pajama pants. She was sitting cross-legged on a couch, watching a TV show. She had a coffee mug between both her hands, and then she took a sip of the drink. A fluffy blanket covered most of her pajama pants.

I took a step forward, causing the floor to creak, and she instantly looked up. The girl set her mug down and turned to smile at me, “Hey, are you feeling better?”

I nodded, “Yeah, I’m feeling better,” I answered, running my fingers through my messy hair. Suddenly, I felt really nervous, but really happy at the same time. Happy? Wait, I feel happy?

She gave me another bright smile, which instantly made a small smile on my lips form, “Good-” she was about to say something else, but was interrupted by some noise downstairs. It sounded like a garage door opening. Her eyes instantly widened, “Look, I would love to have you over longer, just to make sure you’re okay, but you have to go. It was nice meeting you.”

She jumped up, and instantly pushed me in the direction of the door. She opened it, and motioned for me to walk out.

“Thanks for-” I began, but she interrupted, “No problem, bye!” and immediately shut the door. What was that about? I simply walked out of the doorway and down the street, until I found a bench to sit on. I sat down, and then, everything hit me.

I remembered everything from last night. I went to the bar with the boys and got really drunk. Instead of getting happy and carefree, I became sad. Everything hit me at once, so I quickly walked out of the bar. I walked down the road, and was determined to kill myself, I just wasn’t sure how. I thought of jumping in front of a car, but I didn’t want to ruin someone else’s life. They would’ve been the person to kill the Niall Horan. Then, I found a bridge. I climbed up the ledge and was about to jump off when I saw that girl. She was a couple yards away and was also about to jump, but I immediately pulled her off, and we both fell to the ground. I helped her back up, and she stared at me shocked, then I passed out.

That girl this morning… she tried to kill herself last night. But, I was able to stop her. Then, she took me to what seems like her own house when I passed out… Why?

Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrating. I pulled it out and saw that I had a ton of text messages and missed calls. They were all from the boys. Oh shit, I completely left! What the hell am I going to tell them! I can’t tell them that I was going to jump off a bridge to kill myself, but then stopped another girl from dying instead, and then ended up at her house the next morning.

I just need to call them back and make up some excuse. I dialed Harry’s number, and then put my phone up to my ear, “Hey, Ha-” I began, but Harry immediately interrupted, “WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN, NIALL?” He yelled into the phone. I pulled the phone away from my ear, so he could yell without bursting my ear drum, “WE’VE BEEN SO FREAKED OUT FOR THE LAST NIGHT AND THEN WE EVEN CALLED THE POLICE AND THEY ARE LOOKING FOR YOU! WHY DIDN’T YOU CALL US?”

“Sorry, I ended up getting a room at a hotel, because I was so tired. I kind of forgot to call, sorry,” I lied. There was silence for a minute, then Harry deeply chuckled, “Oh, come on, Niall! You can tell me if you hooked up last night.”

“I didn’t,” I replied. What the hell is his problem? Has he always been like this? He thinks I’d just go do that? What kind of pervert is he? Can’t he just think that I went to a hotel for the night?

“Sure, Niall,” he replied sarcastically, then changed the subject, “You want me to pick you up, right? Where are you?”

I looked around. I couldn’t tell him to pick me up in front of a girl’s house, and then he’d really think that. Then, I spotted a grocery store not far down the street; “Um, well I’m at-” I looked down at the street name, “Um, at the grocery store near East Main Street.”

            “Grocery store?” Harry asked, confused.

“Um, well, I got hungry…” I admitted. I could imagine Harry frowning now, “But, you can get room service at a hotel-” I interrupted, “Just come pick me up, Harry.”

Harry chuckled, “Okay, I’m coming. See you in about ten minutes.”

I ended the call and then walked down the road towards the grocery store. I guess I’ll be in there for a little. I walked down the road and into the store. I didn’t really plan on getting something, but if I just stood outside of the store, I think people would obviously know whom I am.

I walked down the aisles, unsure if I should put my hood up. Would it make it more noticeable? I heard someone gasp as I turned the corner. I guess a fan found me. I walked around the corner and then saw a girl wearing a One Direction shirt. Well, I found a fan.

“Oh my gosh, you’re Niall Horan!” she squealed, “Can I get a picture?” She hopefully asked, pulling her phone out. I smiled and nodded, “Of course,” I replied, and then we both got a picture together. She thanked me, and ran off, so I headed to the front. Let’s hope that Harry comes soon before more fans find me.

I walked to the front entrance, and pulled out my phone. I had five more minutes, come on, Harry. I walked out and leaned against the building. Instantly, a girl came running up to me, “Niall, Niall, can I get a picture!” she begged. I nodded, and then got a picture with her.

Soon, tons of girls were lining up to get their picture taken, then, Harry’s car pulled up in front. Harry got out, and the girls freaked out because there were two members of One Direction.
