A month had passed by and everything was beginning to sort itself out. It was moving along slowly, but I think I have been able to fix things up between Jo and I. Yeah, she mentions Asher sometimes, but I've learned to just go along with it.
Today was the day that Jo decided to move back to her house. Not the poor one, but her mansion, basically that's what it is. She says that Asher has moved out, but I'm coming to help her and make sure that Asher doesn't come back.
Jo was walking around the room picking up her belongings and stuffing them into her suitcase. The room was pretty silent, besides the shuffling of her feet. I simply watched her as I sat on the edge of my bed.
Jo looked as cute as ever. She was wearing a loose floral dress with a cardigan over top. She had on knee socks and a pair of black combat boots to match. Her hair was loosely curled and she had a bit of jewelry and makeup on.
"Jo, are you almost ready?" I whined, "It takes you forever to pack!"
"Hey, I've been living here for like two months, it takes me a while to pack everything, gosh," She joked. Jo continued to stuff more items in her suitcase as we spoke.
"You know you don't have to leave..." I quietly told her. I desperately wanted Jo to stay with me every second of the day, but we probably need some space. Well, at least Jo does, I'm happier with her around.
"I know, but I want to," she answered as she continued to pack up.
I sighed and lay back in bed. My hands rested behind my head and I turned my head so I could steal a look of Jo. She was concentrated on folding her clothes perfectly. It was adorable the way she'd try so hard on the smallest things.
I sat up and scooted closer to her suitcase, "Do you need any help?" I asked. Jo looked up from her shirt and shook her head, "No, I'm fine. Besides, you would mess it up," She joked.
I flashed a cheeky grin and picked up one of the perfectly folded jeans that laid on top of her suitcase. Jo froze when she saw what I was doing, "Niall, don't," she warned, slowly reaching towards me. I pulled the jeans away.
Jo slowly climbed on the bed and cautiously crawled towards me. I backed away towards the headboard and Jo followed after me. Once she was right next to me, she tried to grab for her jeans, but I simply pulled them away from her grasp. I could tell that that she was getting frustrated, but it only made it more fun.
"Come and get it, baby," I joked, winking at her.
"Niall, you're being annoying!" She whined. I laughed, "I know."
She finally climbed up onto my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck, "You're just a big kid," She joked.
"I know," I answered and then connected my lips with hers. I snaked my arms around her waist and pulled her closer, but instead, Jo grabbed the jeans from my hand and then slipped away from my grasp. She crawled back over to her suitcase and stuffed the rest of her clothing in her suitcase.
"Let's go before you mess up the rest of my clothing," Jo joked and I pulled myself off the bed. I threw on a pair of shoes and helped Jo take her suitcases down to the car, tossing them in the trunk. We both got into the front of the car and I pulled away from my house. It will be sad coming back and realizing that Jo won't be able to sleep beside me anymore.
