The next morning I woke up to sunlight trying to blind my closed eyes. I was about to stretch out my arms when I realized that something was holding me back. I looked down and saw that Jo was asleep in my arms.

Shit, what did I do last night? Okay, okay I just need to think of what happened last night. It can't be bad, right? I don't remember anything bad, right? I can remember talking with Jo. I hope it comes to me soon.

Okay, so I know I got drunk, and the reason has to do with my mum. What did she do? Oh right, she wanted me to go to a therapist; I think she already got me one. Then, I got drunk and somehow ended up here. I flipped out and then Jo showed up. We started talking. What in the world did we talk about?

For some reason, I didn't want to let go of Jo. I knew it was wrong to continue to hold her a little longer. That was until she would wake up and everything would blow up in my face.

I just held her in my arms and stared up at the ceiling. I didn't want to wake up Jo. She seemed so peaceful; no, we seemed so peaceful. I haven't had this great of peace in a while. I loved it.

The room was completely silent. I couldn't even hear the noise of the city outside. Everything was blocked out. Right now, it was just Jo and me. We were the only people in this world.

I wasn't in trouble now. My worries had finally subsided. I felt free from my internal evil. It was like pure happiness had finally found me after such a long time of searching.

Suddenly, I could feel movement within my arms. I looked down and saw that Jo was starting to awaken. I quickly removed my arms from her body and carefully laid her on the rug before she woke up. I sat up above her.

Jo yawned and sat up, before opening her eyes. She stretched out her arms and then lazily rubbed her eyes. Finally, she opened up her eyes and saw me sitting beside her.

"Um, hey?" the greeting was more of a question, as I awkwardly waved at her.

Jo narrowed her eyes, "So how are you going to act now, Niall?" Jo asked.

It was a good question. How am I going to react to this? Am I mad about spending the night here with Jo? Well, it's not like we slept together or anything. We just stayed in the same room for the night. I think something else happened that I couldn't remember.

            "What all happened?" I asked.

Jo sighed, "Well I should've expected that you would've forgot. I can't believe that I actually thought last night meant something, but I should've known that you were just sputtering drunken nonsense."

Jo ran her fingers through her messy hair and let out another sigh before pulling herself up to her feet. She headed towards the doorway and I quickly reacted, "Jo, wait!" I called, following after her.
