We lay side-by-side underneath the covers with a layer of sweat covering our bodies. We were both breathing heavily and staring at the ceiling, remembering our previous actions.

The air had started to cool after the hot actions and I could feel the sweat starting to evaporate. The area around the bed was a mess, but the other items in the room were arranged neatly.

Finally, I turned my head to look at Jo. She was still staring at the ceiling and her lips were parted, trying to slow her breathing. A few strands of hair stuck to the sides of her face, due to the sweat. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell what she was thinking.

I leaned in and softly kissed the side of her head, leaving my lips against her skin for a couple seconds before pulling away. Jo finally turned to face me, causing a few strands of hair to fall in front of her face. I pushed the strands behind her and then took a chance by giving her a small smile. I was anxious to know how she would reply to it.

"I wonder if Asher has come back here..." Jo quietly said. I wasn't sure if she was talking to herself or me, but I answered back anyways, "Well, it doesn't matter. Earlier you said that you don't care about Asher anymore because you love me now."

I didn't care if I sounded too needy, I didn't want her attention to go back to Asher. I felt more connected to her than ever only a few minutes ago and now those feelings are starting to shatter.

"I don't care about him anymore," she told me, but once again the statement didn't seem to be exactly directed towards me.

"Good," I mumbled and sat up, causing the covers to fall off the upper half of my body, exposing my bare chest, "But, I can't help but notice that you still do seem to care about him even after we slept together."

"Sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like that," Jo mumbled. I didn't reply to that. She seemed so insincere and uncaring about my concern that it made me a little doubtful.

"Let's just go back to my apartment," I murmured as I pulled myself out of bed and pulled a pair of boxers up my legs. Jo didn't say anything, she just dressed herself, too. I took one last look at her naked body before pulling my jeans and a shirt on.

Jo tried to organize the bed as I pulled on my shoes. Soon, we were both prepared to leave, so we walked out of the door and climbed into my car without another word.

The car ride was extremely awkward. I had expected her to say something about our previous intimate actions, but she didn't say a word about it, but neither did I, so I guess you could say that we were even.

I parked my car in the driveway and saw a familiar car parked by the curb.

I loudly groaned and ran my fingers through my messy locks. Jo frowned, "What's wrong?"

I pointed to the car, "That is Zayn's car, so I assume that all of the boys are here. I really don't want to explain everything to them, especially since we look like this," I motioned to our rumpled clothing and messy hair.

"Oh..." Jo realized what I was trying to say, then she laughed, "Oh, I would love to see their reactions when they realize what we did together!"

Jo was about to get out of the car, but I stopped her by grabbing her arm, "Wait, I need to talk to you, " I demanded. Jo slowly sat back in her chair, so I let go of her arm, "Why are you acting like we didn't sleep together?"
