A/N: Because I detest the way so many people make trendy, bubbly, girly, pop-obsessed girls seem like idiotic fluff brains and/or obnoxious bitches.
-----------------------------------------
I am beautiful because
I am joyful.
I am perfect because
I know how to love.
I am cherished because
I have friends and family.
I am happy because
All is well
-----
They say I'm a sissy because
I don't use bad words.
They say I'm a society slave because
I care about following trends.
They say I'm a wimp because
I scream when I see spiders.
They say I'm obsessed with my appearance because
I watch what I eat.
They say I'm annoying because
I act all bubbly and like cheerleading.
They say I'm a ditz because
I giggle around boys I like.
They say I'm a slut because
I wear crop tops and skirts.
I am a girly-girl because
I like the color pink.
I am weak because
I let boys do all my work for me.
I am a cliché because
I love 1 Direction.
I am spoiled because
My family is well-off
I'm not qualified to hang out with them because
I haven't seen hardships like they have.
I am unwanted because
Nobody likes giggly airheads.
I shouldn't be here because
I'm too dumb to survive.
I should be quiet because
Nobody cares what I have to say.
I shouldn't be selfish because
I'm a spoiled little brat and I need to learn.
I should just die because
The world would be better off without me.
I am a naïve, dumb, pampered, worthless, girly, weak little bitch
Because I was happy
Because I loved being stylish
Because I didn't realise the world
Hates girls like me.

PoetryUPDATE: I wrote these when I was 13 and depressed all the time. I'm 18 now, and, fortunately, life's been going well! Unfortunately, these poems are fairly cringe, so read at your own risk. Just some poems that I write when I'm in the poetic mood...
