-------------------
Tick tick tick
Fills the silent room.
Teacher drones on
And on
And on.
-----
Tap tap tap
Pencil on the desk
Mind swimming endlessly
Muscled twitching.
---
Check the clock.
11:18
Just one minute passed
In eternity
Teacher drones on
And on
And on.
---
Tap tap
Smack!
Hand on the pencil
Pinning it to my desk.
Cold obsidian eyes from my left.
A hiss of breath, angry and annoyed.
"Shhh!"
---
The pencil drops.
The hand moves.
My feet tap without my consent.
I shift in my seat.
Teacher drones on
And on
And on.
---
Molasses in my ears.
Can't separate the words.
The tension presses down on me.
I flex my muscles.
Roll my shoulders
Twitching, shaking,
Tension growing.
---
Fingers tapping
Eyes darting to and fro.
I need to focus
I can't focus
Teacher drones on
And on
And on.
---
Silently screaming
Banging my head against the desk.
I have to get out
The walls press in.
Knowlage slipping through my fingertips.
Energy flowing through my body.
Get me out of here!
I
CAN'T
STAND
IT!
---
---
Tick tick tick
Killing my sanity.
Teacher drones on
And on
And on.

PoetryUPDATE: I wrote these when I was 13 and depressed all the time. I'm 18 now, and, fortunately, life's been going well! Unfortunately, these poems are fairly cringe, so read at your own risk. Just some poems that I write when I'm in the poetic mood...
