Not my poem. This is by @esorneerg and it's sooo good.
Apologizes if this shows up on your notification feed again. Wattpad is being annoying. 😧

Head in the clouds-
Ground is drifting away,
Thinking so complicated-
Can't see easy solutions,
Afraid of the dark, but-
No one turns on the light.
Following rules they don't understand.
Having opinions they don't
share,
Chasing goals which don't count anymore.
So intelligent they know
so much;
The mass of the earth, the speed of light-
But still so dumb, so helpless-
so alone
They forget about the important things;
Love,
Happiness,
Freedom,
The things that make them more
than just machines with
skin
In a world full of rules, signs and ways,
They are lost
If they would just start
Asking
(instead of judging)
Answering
(instead of stucking in silence)
Searching
(instead of waiting)
Turning their dreams into plans-
and their plans into actions,
Then, maybe, they can be found again.

PoetryUPDATE: I wrote these when I was 13 and depressed all the time. I'm 18 now, and, fortunately, life's been going well! Unfortunately, these poems are fairly cringe, so read at your own risk. Just some poems that I write when I'm in the poetic mood...
