Right now
I'm in my room
With the lights on low
And a dark song playing.
---
Right now
I'm lying on my back
Looking up at the ceiling
With my eyes shut tight.
---
Right now
I'm trying not to think of you
And everything we went through
But it's not working.
---
Right now,
Tears are slipping down my cheeks
And I'm holding back a sob
For the millionth time.
---
Right now
I'm wishing you were here
To hold me close
And tell me that I'm okay.
---
Right now
I'm thinking of your words
And the way that you look
And the way you were always there.
---
Right now
I'm thinking of your laugh
And your smile
And your kiss.
---
Right now
I'm thinking that he's gonna hear your laugh
And he's gonna see your smile
And he's gonna feel your kiss.
---
Right now
I'm thinking of his smirk.
And what he told you.
That I wasn't good enough for you.
---
Right now
I'm remembering how you believed him
---
And right here
Right now
I'm just a little bit confused.
Because I thought you loved me more
Then that.

PoetryUPDATE: I wrote these when I was 13 and depressed all the time. I'm 18 now, and, fortunately, life's been going well! Unfortunately, these poems are fairly cringe, so read at your own risk. Just some poems that I write when I'm in the poetic mood...
