And even when she was drowning
She didn't make a sound
Just stood in the crowd
Surrounded and all alone
---
And even when she was dying
She never cried
She just smiled
Setting her fate in stone.
---
She never wanted to be trouble
Or to ruin someone's day
With the fact that she wasn't okay
So she let them believe her lies
---
And so she quietly faded away
Full of shame
Full of pain
She's only the girl with with the hollow face
And butterflies in her eyes.
