Erza's P.O.V
"REQUIPT!" I called, changing out of my armor. Traditional Japanese cloth covered me, my crimson samurai pants with flames at the ends, and nothing more than white bandages between my heart and the enemy. I dashed towards Simon, a shrill scream erupting from my throat.
A scream that echoed against the night sky for miles.
His fist swung forward forcefully, aimed to take Meredy's life.
My katanas in hand, I charged him head on, tackling him to the ground before he could hit her. He grunted as we both rolled across the ground. He wasted no time, lifting his fist once again to punch me straight in the forehead.
The blow left a cut which began to bleed almost immediately. I stumbled back, but eventually landed back into perfect stance once again. "DARKNESS MAGIC!" He yelled once again, as an explosive mass threw itself towards me. I dodged it quickly, without thoughts or feelings.
Four more masses had emerged, racing towards me. I darted in between the first two, and jumped over the third, managing a front flip in the air above it as I did. As the fourth came, I fell to the ground as quickly as I could and watched as it soared over me. The magic lightly burned my bare abdomen and chest; any higher up and I would've been hit.
"ENOUGH!" I screamed, reaching Simon as I vaulted myself on top of him. He laid on the cold, dark, ground, with me sitting on his stomach. My katana instinctively laid at his throat. One slight push of my hand would put him down once again.
His eyes widened, as he realized his position. He screeched another creature-like sound and began throwing his fists randomly, trying to hit wherever he could. I couldn't press the blade down, I couldn't watch him die again.
He knocked me off of him and managed to strike my katanas out of my hand. I was under him now, his fists beating into my flesh. I began to spit up blood, being unable to stop him. I was powerless against him...
"Erza's going to die!" He husked in his now familiar computer-like voice, "Simon and Erza will be together again!"
Meldy ran over in attempt to get him off of me, but he threw a punch that sent her flying into a nearby wall. The crack of her head colliding with the brick made my nerves freeze cold. She went unconscious before her body even hit the floor.
"MELDY!" I shouted, still unable to do anything but take the beating. He swung at me furiously, screaming as he did so. A sound full of agony and despair that made me tremble. I cried intensely, my eyes growing tired from all the distress I had been under.
Blow after blow, my petite figure was loosing it's strength.
The feelings inside of me welled up to an extreme extent, to the point where I felt like exploding. Overwhelmed with sadness, rage, and pity- another cry flared up from my vocals. One filled with passion, fear, and pain.
Just as when I was a child, a pink spell circle expanded beneath my body as the pain furiously combust within me. I looked at my katanas, which shook feverishly. They slowly raised in the air and were directed towards me.
Simon stopped what he was doing, enticed by the illumination of my magic, "Erza?" He asked, his voice now as it was when I last saw him.
I'm unsure if it was really there, but I swore I saw a glimmer in his eyes. He blinked a couple times, and pressed his hands against his head, like he was in pain. He winced and began to grunt, a black smoke-like substance surfacing from his skin.
The katanas no longer stood still, they rushed forward at an incredible speed.
"Where am I-" He spoke but was interrupted.
