Nakakatuwa, it's been 10 months since nung kinasal kami, going strong. Wews! As usual maraming ginagawa, middle of construction na kasi ng building, yung kasama sa project namin si Alex.
HAY. The usual day, nagpapaschedule ng meetings, sumasagot sa mga tawag at kung importante icoconnect ko kay Dave.
"Hello, office of the CEO."
[Hi Ms. D kailangan nyo pong manuod ng news ngayon. It's about Ms. Stacey.]
Pagkasabing pagkasabi nya yon, pumasok ako sa office ni Dave. Inopen ko agad yung TV. Nagulat lang sya sa ginawa ko.
"Look at this!"
"So what can you say? You have a new ring? Is that an engagement ring? Is Stacey Werchester to marry this year?" Reporter
"Actually, I am supposedly to marry a billionaire bachelor but something came up." Stacey
"So you're saying that you have boyfriend?" Usisera yung reporter.
"Uhuh. And I love him so much." Ang arte ni Stacey, yung pag uh-uh nya ang tinis.
"Can you name your boyfriend? For sure hindi nya itatanggi kasi you have the world-class beauty." Hay.
"It's been always you Dave. See you soon baby!"
"What the f*!!!!" Sigaw ni Dave.
"So when will you plan to do the preparations?" Nababanas ako sa mga tanong!
"As soon as makapag usap kami kasi he's a busy person so we don't have any communications at a moment."
Pinatay ko na yung TV, I stare at him blankly.
"Woah! Babe chill, as far as you can see wala akong kinalaman sa mga pinagsasabi ng babaeng 'yon."
Hands up pa sya, hindi ko naman sya sinisisi, I'm curious kasi pano? Bakit nya nagawa yon? Lahat ba nababaliw sa love? Hay! Kaloka!
"Don't be defensive Mr. Del Valle. As far as you know, any minute now tatawag na ang daddy mo tungkol sa balitang 'to. Think of any alibi's kasi ako for sure wala akong masasagot."
Ilang minuto lang, like mga 45 seconds biglang nagring yung telepono. Nagkatinginan kami ni Dave kaya nanlaki mata nya. Alam kong iba na naman ang sasabihin ng dad nya.
Sinenyasan nya akong ilaloud speaker nya yung phone.
"Hi Dad!" Kunwari pa syang walang alam sa mga happenings.
[How are you?]Looks like Tito's in good mood.
"I'm fine. Nothing to worry about." Biglang tumaas kilay ko dun ah?
"Want us to join you later, dinner?" Kunwari pa sya.
[Is Dianne okay?] His dad ask him
"Yeah, she's pretty fine like a goddess." Gusto kong hampasin si Dave. Puro kalokohan.
[I've watch the news awhile ago. Actually ngayon ngayon lang.] Ah— So napanuod din pala ni Tito.
