"Janelle." Tawag ko sa pangalan nya pero hindi sya nasagot. Mukhang nakatulog na sya.
Nakatingin lang ako sa may kisame. Hindi ko pa din kasi akalain na magkasama kami ngayong gabi – Sa iisang kwarto lang. Pakiramdam ko ay hindi ako makakatulog. I want to talk to her all night long. Gusto ko siya kamustahin. Gusto ko siyang makakwentuhan tulad ng dati.
"Galit ka pa din ba sa kin?" I asked, still staring at the ceiling of my room. Naasa ako na baka sakaling sumagot sya pero hindi pa rin talaga.
"Sorry... for hurting you." Matagal ko ng gustong sabihin sa kanya to, "Sorry for using you. Sorry for playing your feelings. Sorry for everything..." I tried myself not to be in tears. Gusto kong sabihin sa kanya ang lahat ng hindi ko nasabi noon. I want to ask for forgiveness. I want everything to go back to where it was. I want her to be on my side again.
"I'm sorry because I never liked or loved you." I closed my eyes, stopping myself not to get emotional.
"Stop it." Napabangon ako ng magsalita siya. This time, nakaharap na siya sa 'kin. "Ipapamukha mo pa talaga sa 'kin na hindi mo ko minahal?" I bit my lower lip. Fvck myself! Bakit ko ba kasi sinabi 'yon?
"I'm back for revenge, Calvix. Baka nakakalimutan mo. Tingin mo ba hindi ko kaya?" I know you can't, Janelle. You can't hurt me... I'm the only guy you loved. And I'm the only one who can fix you.
"What happened to the old you?"
"Maybe... dead and gone."
Tumayo sya sa kama. I can't help but to stare at her as she walked towards my direction. She leaned down and whispered on my ears, "Don't worry... I'm still Janelle. Still the same girl you used to know, just a different mind, a new game, craving for revenge and your nightmare." A vicious smile formed on her lips.
Our heart was made to be broken. I'm sorry for hurting you while I'm hurting. I want to fix you. But I can't... because you can't be fixed by the same person who broke you. You really want to get revenge? So be it. I'm betting you can't do it. You want to be my nightmare? Then, be my beautiful nightmare.
