Chapter 16:The Mall and Babysitting

Alan-

Me and Anthony drive to the mall in his silver Porsche. Now will be a good time to question him.

"How old are you?" I ask him.

"My sixteenth birthday is a few days away." He replies."What about you?"

"I'm turning sixteen in one week." I respond.

Anthony nods, while going over the speed limit.

"Bro, what the hell?!" I snap.

"Relax Andy." He tells me.

"Alan." I correct.

"Relax Alan, I always drive like this." He says, smirking.

"What if the cops catch us?" I ask him.

"That's the point." He replies. Then he speeds right pass a police car. Pretty soon, the familiar red and blue lights come to life.

Anthony retrieves something from his pocket, then us and the car turn invisible.

I look back and see the confused policeman, driving the car, with a look of bewilderment on his face.

Anthony laughs, and I find myself also laughing. It's nice to laugh during this depressing war.

"So what mall are we going to?" I ask Anthony after a few minutes of driving. Anthony turned us, and the car back to visible.

"Not a mall in this city, I hate huge crowds." He replies."We're going to a mall two miles away from this city, it's in a small town."

I nod, then I ask more questions.

"So what does Teresa look like, and who is she?" I ask him.

"Well, she has this nice long brown hair, slim body, average height like me, and a voice that sounds like a angel's." He replies, smiling widely."And to answer your second question-she's a Shiner with X-Ray vision, and I have a huge crush on her."

I nod.

"So how come I first seen you, you appeared out of nowhere with snow on your clothes?" I ask him.

"I was skiing with Teresa in the Shiner Dimension." He replies."We were in a very snowy region."

I'm shocked, I still haven't been to the Shiner Dimesion, and it sounds extremely fun.

"You can ski in the Shiner Dimension?" I ask."Sounds like fun."

"Dude, the Shiner Dimension is like Heaven." He replies."I always go there when I'm stressed."

"Why can't I go there?" I ask him.

"Patience." He tells me, like a older mentor or something.

I just nod, then relax in my seat. After awhile Anthony says,"We're here."

The mall is straight ahead, and there are a few cars in the parking lot. Anthony parks the car, then his phone rings.

"Hello?" He asks when he picks it up.

After thirty seconds of responses, Anthony finally says,"Bye." then he turns to me.

"That was Blake. He tells me Everett wants to show the team something important in Alaska." He tells me."Me, you, and the butler, are stuck babysitting Emily. They're leaving once we come back from the mall."

I nod, then we step out of the luxurious car. Once inside the mall, we immediately head to the clothes stores. I buy three white shirts, and four black jeans. Anthony buys a white T-Shirt, a military cap, dark jeans, and two pairs of new shoes.
