Chapter 9:A New Home

Alan-

The eight of us suddenly end up in the living room of what looks like a massive house. We let go of the stone, then stare at eachother. Looks like it's time for introductions.

" I'm Alan." I begin.

A pretty girl with short brown hair walks up to me," Nora."

Danny, the kid we recruited from his school, has a obvious crush on Nora.

" I'm Danny." He announces.

" Hi everyone, I'm Sasha. I'm a good Nitave." Says the female Nitave.

" I'm Pasetto." Says the tallest Nitave with blue eyes," The other Nitave is Werus."

" I'm Josh, the person who brought you all here. Nora and Alan already knows me." Danny explains.

The beast who I found in the stone tower trots over to Josh. He rubs the beast's skin.

" And this is Varlu, my pet from the Shiner dimension." Josh says.

I had no idea we had our own dimension. Varlu shape shifts into a small dog with brown fur. Amazing.

" Everyone this is my hideout." Josh explains, referring to the house we're in." And Nora is my twin sister."

Nora is the same girl from the visions, I seen her in the memories of that one Nitave, and when that wierd Nitave scientist hooked me up to that wierd machine.

" How did you get her here anyways?" I ask Josh.

" I can teleport anywhere on this planet, I can also read anyone's mind no matter how far they are, you can be thousands of miles away from me and I will still be able to read your mind. When I teleported, I was already going to retrieve Nora, I read her mind and found out that she was on a plane with a few other Shiners. Then I teleported her with me and when I seen Danny's shoulder torn, I told Nora to heal him, it's her only ability." Josh answers.

I walk over to a sofa and relax on it. Now would be a good time to call Terrin, better yet, maybe I should get Josh to teleport me to her house.

Danny-

I still have no clue why I'm with these strange people, but I don't mind, as

long as Nora is here. I can imagine having a life with this strange new family of teenagers who aren't even normal. I'm happy I'm here, no one will miss me back in Cleveland. Life just got interesting.

I'm pretty sure that I made it clear to everyone that I have a crush on Nora. Everyone begins to explore the house and have fun. When night arrives, Josh and Alan have retreated to the kitchen to make chicken and rice. Werus and Pasetto wrestle on the living room floor, and I decide to go upstairs.

I bump into Sasha, she gives me a polite smile and continues descending down the stairs. It's not that I don't find her attractive, I just wish her hair was longer, if she was at least my height I'll consider dating her. Plus I have a crush on Nora and I'm pretty sure that Werus likes her.

I go to my room, Josh told me I'll be sharing a room with Werus and Pasetto. I hope to God that Pasetto will not bully me or include me in one of their fights. While I lay in bed, I read Harry Potter. The door is wide-open and I have a good view of the stairs. Minutes pass and I catch sight of Nora ascending.

" Hey Nora." I call out to her. She walks inside.

" Thanks for healing my shoulder." I say. She smiles.

" You're welcome. Also take this." She says, handing me a black shirt with a red skull on it." It's Josh's and he wanted you to keep it, since you have blood on yours."

I put it on after removing the bloody shirt, it's slightly too large but it'll do. I try to get this image of Nora to stick on my mind. She's wearing a simple gray short-sleeved shirt and black shorts.

We sit here in silence for awhile.This is awkward. Pasetto suddenly darts into the room, he crashes into her, she loses her balance and trips on me, we fall to the ground with her on top of me. I stare into her eyes, she gives me a kiss on the cheek before we stand back up. Pasetto seen the whole thing, I notice that he shut the door and Werus is banging on it, another fight.

" Uh," Pasetto begins. " Sorry to intrude." Pasetto chuckles as he opens the door to face Werus's wrath.

Me and Nora smile at each other.

" I'll talk to you later." She says.

When she leaves the room, I jump around and plop back on the bed. I can't believe she likes me. I place my right palm on my right cheek, where she kissed me. That kiss was the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Now my mind is made up, I don't want to leave the place.
