Alan-

Sharkutt dodges a swing of my sword. When he tries to slice me with his sword, I block the attack. He growls and sends me into a tree without physically touching me.

"You can be so much more confident," Sharkutt tells me, a grin plastered on his face."If only you reunited with your Star Mates."

"Star Mates?" I question. Sharkutt laughs.

"Yes, Star Mates. They're the other two Shiners who were hit by the other two Stars you seen the night you became a Shiner," He explains."I believe that the white one hit a teenaged girl in France. The red one made contact with a teenager in Germany."

I see Jace pounding his hammer into Mersidion's right leg. Mersidion roars and kicks Jace in the chest, then he snaps the neck of one of Jace's duplicates. Another duplicate pounces on Mersidion, while another one tries to stab him with a Nitave dagger.

Mersidion uses Telekinesis to force Jace and his duplicates away from him. They land in various spots of the battlefield, some of them even becoming unconscious. Everyone else is battling, corpses of Shiners and Nitaves are scattered across the desert. I spot Kyle's duplicates placing the dead bodies of Nitaves in piles, then burning them.

"So much chaos," Sharkutt says, staring at the gruesome scene filled with blood and pain."My people and Shiner minions are being killed. War, such a terrible thing. Unfortunately, violence is necessary."

"Violence isn't necessary," I tell him, sitting back against the tree trunk."It doesn't have to be this way, surrender and go back to the Nitave Dimension!"

"I don't intend on going back until all Shiners and Humans are dead. Once the Shiners are dead, the Nitaves will regain our great powers which we previously had. All of you must die!" He replies with anger in his voice. I know he wants to end the battle, he's becoming impatient.

Sharkutt readies his sword and begins striding towards me.

"Killing me won't do anything!" I shout to him, he stops in his tracks."Even if you kill me, my friends will just retaliate by ending your life and Mersidion's! Plus, every Shiner in existence isn't even here!"

"About sixty percent of the Shiner population is here!" He yells at me."There isn't much of you left anyways, the Nitave race has been hunting you all down for centuries!"

He scowls at me, then charges. I quickly get to my feet and fling two fireballs at him. He deflects them both, causing me to throw another one. The fireball misses him and burns a tree instead.

Will arrives in his monstrous form. He pounces on Sharkutt and bites into his shoulder. Sharkutt teleports away from him, then they circle each other.

"Need some help?" Two duplicates of Kyle asks me, flying over and punching Sharkutt. With four enemies to battle, Sharkutt is now distracted and won't be murdering anymore of my friends. I wish I could have saved the ones he killed, but I wasn't able to. If only Everett didn't make me comatose, maybe they wouldn't have died.

I reach out to a boulder, controlling it, then I launch it at Sharkutt. It hits him in the chest with enough force, that it causes him to get blown five yards away.

"If you want to continue this fight, meet me at my mansion. I will dispose of the force field, your friends are also welcome." He tells us before teleporting away.

"Dammit!" Both of Kyle's duplicates says, angrily. Haven walks over to us with a sad look on his face.

"They're burning the bodies," He tells me, referring to our dead allies. I look back to the battlefield and see that he's telling the truth. The Nitaves are burning the corpses of our teammates, just so I won't be able to resurrect them. They scatter the ashes, because they know I must need the entire body in order to bring someone back life. I can resurrect someone if their ashes are still in the area, but I won't be able to bring it back together if the missing parts are too far away from each other."Almost all of my army is dead. Over one million Shiners, just gone like that. My daughter is dead, too."
